By functioning as a regular rear view mirror also it is sometimes hard to see camera view.. Have not installed sd card so don't know how well recording works..

After spending an hour to put into my car, What I got was a comepletely garbage product. IMO, "This unit must be a defected one". Screen turned off after couple minutes on. Turned back on and sure it turned itself off after a few minutes. Sometime just circle randomly from front view to rearview to split screen. Other time just went right away to view files screen as soon as I started my car. Touch screen is either froze or not working right. (I tried to adjust some setting but could not get any the screen respone. After awhile, the mirror changed itself to Japan langue and froze there forever. I tried several time but could not get the mirror change back to English). After, re-read manual several time. Searching online for solution but to no end. I decided to uninstalled the unit and returned this mirror to Best Buy for a refund. Very disapointed.

Take out the SD card and use the card reader to format it to FAT32. Here's the video about how to format SD card to FAT32 on the computer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcOkHajz3ug 2. Unplug the rear camera to see if the front camera works. 3. Use a pin to reset directly the device. The reset hole is behind the camera.
