The hatch/hook mechanism no longer works

Although, not even two months later, if the case is even just upside down, it swings open. The hatch mechanism isn’t working whatsoever. In the image you can see the hook is more outwards on top, so if you were to try to open it, it will open with ease without pressing the button.

I received this case in early November and by January the lock had failed. I frequently find the case open thus draining my battery, Just a few short months later and I'm looking for another case. This was product was a total waste of money.
