Customers are saying

Customers highly value the quality and reliability of Verbatim Blu-ray recordable media, with many users praising the brand and reporting no issues or coasters. The discs are also appreciated for their compatibility with older devices, with one customer using a 7-year-old BD writer successfully. While some customers find the media to be expensive, many believe the quality justifies the cost.

I decided to upgrade my music library and started downloading a lot of high-res audio files (24 bit high sample rate flac) from HDtracks and similar sites. They tend to be around three times larger than 16 bit 44.1 kHz CD audio tracks. Dual-layer DVDs were no longer practical for backing-up the quantity of large files I was accumulating. Verbatim BD-Rs hold roughly three times the data for about the same price as the DL DVDs I was using (a dollar and change when purchased on sale), and were available right off the shelf at a nearby BestBuy store. Burning from a Mac Pro with Pioneer BDR-2077 using Toast Titanium. Decent write speed for the amount of data - about half an hour for 23+ GB per disk.

I have burned all 25 disks backing up photos, and select movies from my Synology 1515+ NAS. I am extremely impressed at the fact I am using a LG Blue ray burner through my stick computer connected to Ethernet. My house has full Ethernet ports connected to a Netgear POE 16 port router.

Ive never had issues with verbatim discs and i have used every type of disk they make. thousands of dc-rs, hundreds of dual layer and single layer blu ray disks. DVD disks ive made hundreds and have no issues with burning, reading or errors. Ill keep buying them as long as they keep up their QC on the disks.

Bought these to burn a video that was larger than 4GB they worked perfectly. I did have to purchase an external Blue-ray disc burner because my MacBook was unable to but it was all pretty straight forward plug and play. I also purchased a Samsung BD-J5100 Blu-ray Player to play the discs.

Got these to burn home videos onto. I copy and paste directly to disc and am able to watch videos on BD-Player (Samsung). I just have to format disc (Windows 7) as DVD/BD and not data disc in order to watch on BD-Player. The discs work flawlessly with AVCHD video format and seem to be extremely durable.

I use these for HD video files and have never had an issue with these discs. I've gone thru several spindles. Best Buy has really cut down on their inventory of blank media..glad they still carry these.

Like many people I have several computers and home and data spread across all of them. I was looking for a fast, safe and durable way of backing all my data. DVDs are nice but painfully slow and with limited capacity require constant supervision changing discs. Verbatim - Blu-ray Recordable Media and an inexpensive Blu-ray burner solved this for me. With 25Gb capacity and the high-quality/reliability you would expect from Verbatim, backups are no longer a problem.

On the one hand, it's great to have the extra storage capacity of a Blu-ray disc, on the other hand, reports about the potential lack of durability of disc media present some cause for concern. In the meantime, I'll have to take my chances.

I bought these to back up my work computer files that were too big for blank DVD's, they worked great and haven't had any issues with the back up discs.

This is a must-have product to Back-Up all your Music, Videos, Photos, or any kind of Data: Program Apps or Documents. Low price for a Blu-ray Recordable 25 Gb. You'll need a PC's Blu-ray recorder & player to use this media. Verbatim Brand Disc plays on SONY Blu-ray players & some others.

Use these discs for burning movies made with my iPhoneX and GoPro cameras. Both shoot 1080 HD video, so burning to Blue-ray disc provides no reduction in video quality. I could see using these discs for storage of original HD video as well. Very reasonable price.
