I have used other dvd discs, but none could beat Verbatim.

This is a whole lot better storage disc, double the size, 8.5 GB of regular DVD, 4.3 GB only. It's good if you are into creating a big data file storage.

I always burn discs of all our pictures and of our videos from our vacations off our computer as a back-up. These discs hold a lot of pictures and videos and there is never any buffering and it looks and sounds great!

Product works very well. The image and video quality is great. Plus I have enough space for my large video files.

There really isn't much to say about it. They're DL DVDs and they work. Just like with any disk you're going to come across some bad ones (I haven't found any yet in this batch). My only complaint is I only needed 3 disks... and I sure wish my best buy had carried a 10 disk option instead of 20. That made it a pretty penny for 3 disks...

After a Windows update in Nov 2017 my 1 year old laptop stopped working. Wouldn't boot. No login. No nothing. Luckily I had another system with windows 10 on it. I was able to make an image disc from my desktop and used it to reimage my laptop. The windows image was about 6 gigs and a standard DVD would only support 4.5 gigs (or so). These Dual Layer (DL) she's support up to 8 gigs and handled the job with no problem.

No “coasters” yet, and compatible with each drive in which I have attempted to write to them — one Apple, one Asus, and one hp. They are a little bit more money than no-name discs, but my experience with Verbatim media overall has been positive. And according to scans of 10+ year old Verbatim DVDs using Nero DiscSpeed, the Verbatim media hold up better than other brands that I have tried over time. Just look for the ones that say “AZO” on the package; they are purportedly higher-quality blanks than even the Verbatim ones that do not have that marking.

In my humble opinion, this is the only DVD+R DL brand to use for overburning (burning more than the rated 8.5G on specific models of DVD drives that can do it)

I needed some Double Layer DVD+R DL to go with my new burner. They work great together. No glitches...perfect.

Why would you settle for less when you want the best copy you can burn. With Verbatim you'll produce the best copy because it has a double layer that makes your copy look great, not like the single layer.

With data demands getting higher, this is the highest capacity discs my burner can handle (until I can afford a Blu-ray burner). I was able to successfully create a reliable backup. Not sure about the shelf life, but I'm sure it'll do for my needs.

going to Best Buy to purchase a set of burnable DVDs is saying a bit about yourself. But really, even though they were expensive, every once and while you can't wait a day or two for a box to show up, sometimes you need them immediately. I would recommend this brand if you have to pick them up in store immediately, always reliable, and compatible with most burners and playback devices.

This product is outstanding. I have never had a bad disc or any problem burning discs.

I always use Verbatim disks for my video recording. I have come to trust in the quality of the disks for a great video experience. These disks provide extra storage for higher resolution productions.
