For some of the movies that I burn I needed the DVD+R DL because of the size of the movies, which I use to burn movies for the kids to watch in my Minivan and they love the quality of the movies that I show them!! We are all completely satisfied with the Quality and performance of this product.

I needed to send a very large video file to someone and could not get it on a regular DVD. I was able to burn it to one of these without a problem. These are a little pricey but cheaper than sending a USB drive to someone. This was the only store in my area that carried the double layered DVDs.

These are great DVDs for backing up your computer data. They hold even more data than a regular DVD and are therefore even more effective at backups. We all backup our computer data, don't we? These are great for a second, or third, backup and a different media format.

I repair and restore older Apple Mac computers which require a CD with macOS installed. These disks are the disks you need for installing software & operating systems to. The disks are high quality, and it's a great deal for the price.

The price was the best at Best Buy. Selection was good. Discs function nicely.

Needed to burn an installation disc for windows 10 version 1803 but it wouldn’t fit on a standard disc. The iso fit on these perfectly and I haven’t had any issues with the discs.

Not a lot to say about media except that it works and has no imperfections.

These discs actually work! You can write data to them, and they don't fail!!

I have some long running DVD movies that I wanted to back up and these discs served that purpose well. The single layer discs would capture the entire movie, but at a low quality.

Over the years, I've used many DL discs to back up data and my kids home videos. Others end up with a few failed burns and discs in the trash. Verbatim has always been reliable on my different dvd-r burners. I will only buy verbatim for this reason.

If you want to create a disk that will hold the entire Windows 10 operating system (need at least 5 Gb), then these are the disks for you. They will hold up to 8 Gb, and they actually work without making any 'coasters'. Would buy again.

I have used Verbatim as my first choice media for dual layer DVD and never been disappointed. Over the last 2 years I have only had one bad disk our of 150 - 200 discs.

As most Verbatim disk go these dual layer disks are no different, there are many DVD Burners/Writers out there that simply don't like something about Verbatim disks, it could be the foil that they are made with, or a coating, or one of a dozen different things. I can tell you that they seem to work well in most LG, and Samsung DVD-RW's but they do NOT seem to work so well in Sony, NEC or Lite-on DVD-RWs so maybe try a smaller pack first to make sure they work as i coaster-ed over 25 while testing on different drives. Additionally these 8.5GB dual layer disks are a fairly good deal when on sale and safely hold about 8.1GB of data, do not expect to be able to over-burn these like you can with many of the dual layer Memorex disks, which are the brand disks that i would recommend as they work in pretty much any DVD-RW, play in just about any DVD Player and in most case can be slightly over-burned with the right software. These discs were purchased for the size, dual-layer holds more than single layer. I bought this to precisely match the specs of my burner, which is also DVD+R. I doubt these would work with DVD-R burners! Know what you're buying.

When you need more than 4.7 GB to burn an ISO, this is the only solution. Not quite 2X the size of a standard DVD disc (8.5 GB vice 9.4 GB), when you need one these do a great job. Never had one die during the burning process.

Since I could not find any larger capacity, this made what I was looking for, transferred a lot of AVI files from Dash-Cam from across country trip.

These DVD's are great for backing up your data, photos, movies, etc. I used them all and no issues or errors. I'm ready to order another pack of them!
