I bought this at short notice and for a very important livestream event (personal use). The product was easy to use and set up with Verizon. Great functionality and depending on your location to verizon provider towers, fast enough for streaming and uploading content. Note: SIM card is INCLUDED in the unit, it's behind the battery inside. Helpful for when you go to setup with verizon you don't need another SIM.

So far it has had a great signal and battery life. Downloads movies quickly and hasn’t buffered during.

I bought this for getting internet while camping. If I could get cell phone access it worked well but... Most of the places I camped at were out of verizon's cell area so the jetpack was useless. Also, I found that where I could get access that my phone would too so it was cheaper to use my phone as an access point. One word of warning. Disable your OneDrive, iCloud or similar because when they synchronize they use a lot of your allotted data. The jetpack works but it isn't right for me.

I was trying to setup somewhat of a temporary service at my father-in-law's house where my phone only got intermittent service. I walked around his house while looking at the hotspot screen until I found the best signal and placed it there. It was getting 1-2, mostly 2 bars stronger than my phone did. Range was roughly 60 feet for me.

I love this little thing! I take it with me everywhere. I had to get it through verizon. Its fast and works great. Just like any type of device that connects to towers it will have its times that the signal isnt that great and it slows down the speed. But i love it. Gets hot but it doesnt affect anything.

I bought this to replace a lost hotspot. This is a newer model than the lost unit. I connected to Verizon and activated this with no issue. I have heard no complaints so the performance must be better than the unit that was lost.

I needed a reliable connection for my second home and also churches in a rural area... so far this has been a great source. It was reasonably easy to set up... although some better instructions about how to set up purchasing minutes would have been helpful ... but overall was able to get it up and running in a short amount of time after charging the device. Based upon my experience so far, I would recommend it be considered when you are trying to get a mobile hotspot.

This hotspot is very durable. I live in a rural area and it has not failed me yet. This is my only source of internet connection. This little device inform you of how many primary and guest users are connected because codes are given for them. Guests are connected only when you want them to be connected. It also tell you how many days left in the cycle. It don't over heat and shut off. When the battery is charged, it beeps and send a message to unplug the device. It is a little pricey but, I am pleased.

Very fast hotspot. I have had multiple others but this one is the best. The other reviews that mention the drop outs are caused by the auto sleep feature. Turn autosleep off if you don't want the hotspot to disconnect after a period of use.

Worth it. Much better than tethering to your phone. This replaced my AT&T / Netgear hotspot. It's smaller. Verizon has a stronger signal. Even though I have AT&T for cell phone, I pay for this so I can always do remote work if needed. Recommend without hesitation.

Up for long weekend away and hooked this up in 10 minutes which included adding the device to my Verizon plan. 8 people using it at once and every one has great service Should have done this years ago, Love this device.

We love this! Now when we travel in our motor home, we have internet, access to our Apple TV and it is tied to my Verizon plan. Even locally, I take this when I need a fast hotspot. Is is easy to set up with all of our devices but I only use it with one at a time to facilitate the speed.

NEEDED this due to lack of internet (Derecho storm). This was helpful and useful. At first, it used up battery very quick.Then, it would go into sleep mode and had to reactivate. I think this is a good device and will be keeping . Bought lesser device but will return it unused because internet was reestablished I had no difficulty setting up device and establishing a telephone company service. I found that remarkably simple.

It is a definite improvement over my previous 7730L jetpack. I did have some issues with it initially, mainly because I just moved my SIM from the old unit to this one - but did not contact Verizon to activate it. Once I got that done it's been rock solid ever since. Moral of the story: it's a great unit, but even if you are just moving your SIM - call Verizon and let them know.

Needed to get internet for office staff working at home without internet service. Devices that are GREAT and I would suggest to anyone needing access to the internet on the go or at home.

New to all this - but setup was ridiculously easy. Love the fact this is portable, and functions as a portable battery source also. Working with Verizon was also super easy. Very happy so far with this item.

Purchased this item for a cross country move. It has been reliable and easy to use.

My jetpack must work smoothly at any time of day or night when I am away from my office. A sturdy piece of hardware, the MiFi 8800L doesn’t let me down. Ever. It also has helpful and easy-to-read screen information.

When connected, delivers fast response time. Sometimes but not much, will loose connection but has always reconnected within a few seconds after the hiccup.

Easy to connect to. Reliable and easy to carry. Great for being non the road.
