Ok device…..Could be better
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device is great but service wise as usual data with Verizon tends to drain quickly. 2 days in and I got an alert that I’ve used 50% of my data and I’ve only used this thing to set up my brand new HP Inkjet wireless model smh

A second mifi because the 1st works so well
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the exact same one already at my camp in Vermont. It manages all of my Ring cameras and provieds enough wifi for a full family and guests. I am using Verizon unlimmited plan which means only 15 Gigs of high speed. But even after that is used up and we watch a movie it still plays with very limited buffering (like once or twice) for a 90 minute movie. We are not gamers so i cant tell you anything about lag times. I just know that it works great for our needs. I am purchasing an additional one to see if it will meet our needs at home before i drop Comcast internet. I already dropped cable and just stream everything in both locations with a Chromecast device on the TVs. I pay $20 a month for the verizon unlimmited line for camp and $80 for comcast internet at home. Wish me luck!!

Keeps us connected while traveling.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hoping this one works better than the previous model. So far it is not kicking us off the internet every 15 minutes or so. Hopefully the battery issue will improve as well. Have it on a timer so it's not on charger 24 hours a day. We travel fulltime in an RV and use this as one of our main sources to connect to the internet. It's nice that it's super portable. Negative is it will not work without a battery.

So far, so good!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far, so good. We have been using this for almost a month and it has worked flawlessly. We typically get about 16Mbs downlink through it. It hasn't reset, nor had any other problems. We do unplug it every other day, to allow the battery to discharge some and to save some it from some of the micro-charges. It has two bars in our location. We tried using an external MIMO antenna, but it didn't improve the reception, nor the speed. 16Mps is good, I just wanted to see if it could get any better.

Love it
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this little thing! I take it with me everywhere. I had to get it through verizon. Its fast and works great. Just like any type of device that connects to towers it will have its times that the signal isnt that great and it slows down the speed. But i love it. Gets hot but it doesnt affect anything.

Not right for me.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for getting internet while camping. If I could get cell phone access it worked well but... Most of the places I camped at were out of verizon's cell area so the jetpack was useless. Also, I found that where I could get access that my phone would too so it was cheaper to use my phone as an access point. One word of warning. Disable your OneDrive, iCloud or similar because when they synchronize they use a lot of your allotted data. The jetpack works but it isn't right for me.

Good but turns off
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.NEEDED this due to lack of internet (Derecho storm). This was helpful and useful. At first, it used up battery very quick. Then, it would go into sleep mode and had to reactivate. I think this is a good device and will be keeping . Bought lesser device but will return it unused because internet was reestablished I had no difficulty setting up device and establishing a telephone company service. I found that remarkably simple.

Much Better Than MHS900L
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally bout an MHS900L for use in our summer home in northeast Arizona and in our RV, but it barely worked. I was looking for alternative (DSL and Cable not available up there). A friend loaned me an 8800L and it worked much better. Still get buffering when trying to stream live baseball on ROKU TV, but I couldn't do it at all with the 900L.

This is the FLAGSHIP LTE Hotspot on Verizon!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great with my prepaid unlimited hotspot data plan from Verizon. It’s a grandfathered plan that can’t be purchased any longer. This is a category 18 LTE modem, which supports incredible data speed potential. At my home, and I live pretty close to a Verizon tower, I’m getting up to 220Mbps down/15Mbps up. I have had some issues where the connection drops intermittently, but that’s been proven to be a network issue where I’m at, not a fault of the Inseego device itself. When I insert a non-Verizon SIM card, that issue was not occurring. So the Verizon network is causing that hiccup and I will have to pursue that with them. And this device is sold unlocked, so if the LTE bands of your alternate carrier are supported on this device, a SIM with an unlimited hotspot plan will work in it. If your setup includes Verizon and you are data hungry, this is the only hotspot I’d recommend until a 5G one is proven and affordable. Because this remains a cutting-edge LTE modem, it will be relevant for years. The carriers are just getting around to decommissioning the 3G networks end of this year and into next, so LTE will live on probably until at least 2030. All that to say, buy this with confidence it will serve your needs for years to come.

Trusty WiFi on the Go
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this at short notice and for a very important livestream event (personal use). The product was easy to use and set up with Verizon. Great functionality and depending on your location to verizon provider towers, fast enough for streaming and uploading content. Note: SIM card is INCLUDED in the unit, it's behind the battery inside. Helpful for when you go to setup with verizon you don't need another SIM.

A good performer
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great device. I've been using this as my sole source of internet. I'm able to work remotely as well as stream content on a Roku or Fire stick. The convenience of being able to take it with me when I travel is great as well. I find this to be a better performer than the Ellipsis. A wifi extender is also able to work with this.

Lifesaver
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this hotspot. I live in a very rural area and when my home internet (satellite) acts up, this is my backup. I can even use this hotspot on the go. I am in grad school and it helps that I can still do homework when it rains. My only complaint is that I can not tell how much data I have. I just use it until it says that I need to refill it. It could just be my device but I can not get a signal with other companies.

Very fast, great range and excellent battery life.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, this Jetpack is still the fastest, longest lasting and has the best range/reception. I use it even in my yard, as I get a much better signal than any of my 2 phones. Highly recommended and Best Buy has the same prices as Verizon and is much faster with customer service. Verizon is getting worse and worse with 60 minute waits in-store, while Best Buy is in and out within 10-15 minutes.

Fantastic Hotspot
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We live out in the country and have to use satellite for our internet and television. Many times, due to the weather, the satellite is down. I can use this Hotspot during those times and my internet connection is great. I, also, can carry it wherever I go because it is light and small. Great connection and speed. I use it more than my satellite system now. I would recommend it to anyone!
