Cold months dry heat

If you have ever that dryness around your nose when heating the house just running this cool mist humidifier makes a world of differences.

Posted .Thank you for sharing your experience Keeron. Initially when using a unit, it can take a seemingly long time for the humidity level in the room to rise. The reason for this is that your unit is constantly trying to push moisture into an extremely dry environment. Everything in that environment (walls, floors, furniture, carpet, etc...) is absorbing this moisture. Only when all the objects in the environment are saturated, will the water from the humidifier stay in the air. Due to this, we recommend leaving your humidifier on the highest setting. If you have dry heat, such as forced hot air, it is best to let the unit run constantly. The reason the tank depletes fast indicates that the air is dry. Once more moisture is in the air, the tank will deplete at a slower rate. If you have any questions, please contact us by emailing [email protected]. Thank you.

The biggest issue I have with it is that a few times an hour it makes an incredibly loud bubbling noise as it brings water from the tank into the unit. I am generally a heavy sleeper and it is loud enough to wake me at times. Odds are I will be replacing this with a different model in the near future.

However what kills it for me is that I am a VERY light sleeper and every hour or so it will make this god awful gurgling noise that makes me think my wife or dogs are dying. It wakes me up every time.. So we're going to get rid of it for that reason. But if that won't bother you, it's a good humidifier.
