Works well with bluetooth but I definitely recommend hard wiring to a decent set of bookshelf speakers for best sound.

“Open box -Excellent item” came with no power cord. I understand that it was an open box item, however, missing parts should not be classified as excellent. Reached out to Best Buy online chat in an attempt for them to make it right and they told me to go to one of their stores and they would give me a cord. Drove out to a store and told them the situation, and they said “Customer Service is sending them to us for this?” and proceeded to show me on their phone that I can go on Amazon to buy a power cord. Come on now.. do better, Best Buy. As for the turntable itself, awesome.

If you’re like me and enjoy the classic warm sound of vinyl, but also appreciate simple designs and technological advancement, you’ll appreciate the Victrola Automatic Turntable. I’ve used a few turntables in my day, and while this may not be a high-end audiophile grade turntable, I’m still impressed at how effortless the Victrola makes listening to records. After taking it out of the box, everything about this turntable was made with the ease of use in mind. The fully automatic playback system is a feature that I had no idea I needed until I tried it. The continuous repeat is my favorite feature on the Victrola. In short, the turntable can automatically repeat playing the record without end user intervention at all. This is ideal for situations such as parties where you’re looking for continuous music. It’s a simple feature, but really comes in clutch for different scenarios. When it comes to sound quality, the Victrola does exceptionally well. While I wouldn’t put it in the audiophile category, the AT 3600 moving magnet cartridge does a fantastic job at outputting great sound, uncommon for entry level turntables. I could clearly hear subtleties and depth in music that I’ve struggled to hear from compressed music on streaming services. It doesn’t matter if you’re listening to old or new records, the sound is clear and well defined. Setting up the turntable was incredibly simple, something I always appreciate with new electronics. There is a phono preamp built-in, so whether you’d like to take advantage of your own preamp, or the Victrola’s, the included RCA cable makes connecting to your sound system or speakers easy. On the other hand, if you don’t want to use cables, or need a more private listening experience, the Victrola can also connect using Bluetooth, allowing for a cable free listening experience. The design is simple and clean, being sufficiently contemporary and stylish. The included dust cover is nice to keep dust out of places where it will cause issues with your listening experience. All in all, I would highly suggest the Victrola to anyone looking for an easy to use, budget friendly, turntable. While it lacks some features and configurations of the higher end audiophile units, there are plenty of people that this turntable will be more than exceptional for. It’s easy to use, has good sound, and looks great. Whether you’re a casual listener or looking for an easy to use private listening experience, the Victrola has enough features to keep you pleased.

Item is better than i expected! I love it! It does need a separate speaker which i didnt realize at first, but its so nice.

Just not for me. I wanted more features and higher quality. Fine for someone wanting the basic.
