I had a little time that I did not listen to the records that I have been collecting for some time, when I received this product it caused me an excitement for all the music that I could listen directly from my vinyl and indeed I was not disappointed, on the contrary, I could play my favorite old school music with speakers already installed in the turntable that sound pretty good for the size of the device, from the unboxing you can perceive the quality and simplicity of a product that does exactly and extraordinarily what it has to do. The details of the old turntables that we had at home were not neglected, only that this time includes auxiliary audio output and bluetooth connection to play on different speakers, despite this does not lose the naturalness and the classic look that at least for me is great, It has the necessary buttons to play different sizes of discs, from the needle, the lever to lift or position the needle, the adapter to change disc and size, the classic transparent cover, volume knob everything seems to have been designed to detail, I just loved it, I definitely recommend it.

When we asked questions from employee of Best Buy about this machine no one mentioned that the sound is extremely low. No way to increase sound expect to attach speakers which was exactly why we did not buy other machines.

    Vinyl Perfection

The player comes well packaged with biodegradable cardboard, I like that styrofoam wasn't used. All moving parts (arm, turntable) were secured to prevent damage. Setup for anyone who's ever used a turntable, or never touched one was as simple as releasing the arm and putting the needle to the vinyl. Nothing to assemble! There are the 3 speeds of 33-45-78. The speaker won't do your LP any justice...at all, the only reason I didnt deduct for this deficit is because you can connect to a bluetooth speaker. The dust cover is removeable which is a big plus as my record player sit on the second shelf of an entertainment center, that doesn't allow for the cover to fully open. I also like that the overall measurements are very compact and lightweight, it wouldn't be a problem carrying it to the backyard for a party. There are a few tweaks available to customize, if you choose, however straight out the box settings worked perfect for my use. If, like me, you happen to be a vinylhead this is definitely an option to look at for your home

Ok, let me get my biggest issue out of the way with this Record Player, the Victrola - Eastwood Signature Hybrid Record Player should be bigger. The footprint of this unit requires you to keep the cover open (at a specific angle) to play full size LP records. I found this to be a limiting factor in where I could place the unit (for instance on the top of other audio components in stack fashion) or on a shelf (since it requires a least a foot of vertical clearance. The only situation where I would find the smaller size useful is if I wanted to use this as a portable unit (secure the stylus arm prior to moving), with the inclusion of speakers and connectivity that opens up that possibility for that reason I upgraded this unit rating by a single additional star. As for the turntable itself, if you can deal with the above limitations, this is a versatile unit. It features small built-in speakers for playback, a headphone jack, RCA outputs and most importantly these days, Bluetooth connectivity (both to and from other devices). So, you can play music through the unit’s speakers from a phone, tablet or any other Bluetooth capable playback device. My favorite feature was to be able to output the turntable to Bluetooth speakers and headphones. Being able to do this allowed me to blast my LP of Loudness – Thunder in the East through my huge Sony SRSXP500 Bluetooth Portable Wireless Speaker, quite the 80’s parking lot scene. As for operation of the turntable, it is manual affair which didn’t really bother me except I reminisced about the skill of track queuing. The stylus provided good playback characteristics and seemed to be a step above the normal bundled version. If you want a versatile record player this is a good fit, with basic featured record playing mechanism with the added features of Bluetooth in/output and built-in speakers. Pros: - Versatile connectivity - Built in playback speaker - Decent stylus cartridge - Nice design and aesthetics - buttons on front panel for controlling playback from Bluetooth input devices - Small footprint Cons: - Small footprint/platter placement requires LP records be played in the open cover position (and a specific angle).

Ok let me start off with one feature that is both a pro and a con that personally I’m not a fan of. That is the size; it is smaller than a traditional record which requires the top to have two slots to allow the record to poke thru. Now of course this helps the overall dimensions of the device to be slightly smaller, but personally I don’t think this is a worthwhile trade off. Over time this will allow more dust to settle inside the top and you still need to place it in an area big enough for the protruding record edges. My second issue is simply the quality of the sound. I have a 30 plus year old record player with a 30 plus year old needle that sounds better. Not that it sounds terrible, just not great. So now that I got that out of the way, let’s talk about the positives. It looks nice, a cute retro design. It can play all three traditional speeds of 33, 45, and 78. Once again those weirdos like me who actually own a 16 RPM record are ignored lol. Though I bet most reading this didn’t even know there was a 16 (common 60-80 years ago) PRM…so I understand.. The built in speaker is pretty good all things considered. Not great, but solid. Streaming from my phone via Bluetooth was super quick and easy to set up. Connecting my wireless headphones to the record player via Bluetooth was also quick and easy. The arm and stylus are well designed and easy to gently place and drop onto a specific track. After a couple attempts I got my eye back for dropping the needle right where I wanted. Oh also I didn’t actually need them as it was all set up intuitively, I did check out the directions. They are well written with helpful pictures. All in all I like this device. When I consider the price and the versatility it looks even better. Not the option if quality of sound is your number one concern. But if pretty good is good enough then I think you’ll like this device and in that instance I would absolutely recommend this record player to a friend. If it were a little bigger with a lid that went over the record I would of given it 5*s.

The Eastwood Signature Hybrid Victrola is a good looking and versatile record player that produces good sound with the internal speakers. In addition to the internal speakers, it has the ability to use external bluetooth speakers for even better sound. This makes it great for parties, etc. When either more volume or better sound is desired. I have played several 78rpm vinyl records through external speakers and sound quality has been excellent. The victrola has a headphone jack and RCA connections for use with an amp. You can also use the victrola as a bluetooth speaker itself for pairing your phone to play through the internal speakers. This very easy to set up and sound from my Android phone was very good. If you have the need for a versatile and easy to use record player capable of playing 33, 45, and 78rpm vinyl, has speakers that can be used by other devices, and can be connected to external speakers for great sound, I recommend the Eastwood Signature Hybrid Victrola.

The victrola Eastwood record player wowed me. It has been forever since I listened to a vinyl album. This summer the wife got me the Eagles' greatest hits. I was excited to play the album. Setup was easy. I held down the BT button and the BT button on my speaker and it connected within 5 seconds. I tested how far the range would go as I was working in my basement. I carried the speak downstairs and it didn’t miss a beat. It's great! I can be out in the garage, back patio, or Man cave in the basement, and the connectivity is not lost. Impressive for such a small player. I tested the main speaker, and it does the job as well. Not great by any means, but good enough. The unit is very attractive with some throwbacks to days of old with faux wood grain and retro-looking knobs. If you have wired headphones there is a connection on the main panel for you next to the BT/Phono knob, Which lets you alternate between the built-in speaker or a paired speaker. There are also play/pause, skip fwd/back buttons to play specific tracks from your streaming device. (I.E. phone) through the turntable speaker. The unit is very compact, measuring 5 inches tall with the top cover down, by 12.75 wide and 13.5 deep. The first time I used it I noticed that you must slide the record under the back of the top cover, or remove it first before laying the record down on the turntable. The record hangs over the side of the unit. Located in the back are RCA jacks for those that have an amplifier-type device. On the top by the Tonearm is a speed selector for 45’s, 33’s, or 78’s along with an arm for the cue lever to keep you from manually having to put the needle down on the record and scratch it. This is done very slowly. The unit comes with a 45-adapter ring that fits into the top of the player for storage. When the record is done, it will automatically stop playing. You can start or stop the record with tonearm movement if you like it that way. The manual switch is located by the speed buttons. I was amazed at how clean the sound was. Not what I remember listening to back in the ’80s. Which included popping and crackling. There was absolutely none of that. I dare say it was close to CD not exactly but real close. I now have a new hobby. Going to record stores and re-buying all my old favorite albums that I stupidly sold for .25 cents at garage sales years ago. I highly recommend the Victrola.
