Broke the first time I used it.

I thought maybe it just needed adjusting, but there is no way for us to fix it. I can carefully lower the arm, but raising it is a challenge for my fairly dexterous female fingers. My poor husband has a very hard time lifting the arm when the record is done. He fears he will damage a record trying to get under the arm and lift it by hand. Consequently, he hates this and will not use it, which is a bummer because it was a Father's Day gift for him.

We purchased two for gifts so I opened the other one and it worked fine. The sound is low quality. The materials are light thin plastic. We returned both un its. More of a novelty item.

The arm stopped working with the lever and the only way to get it to play was to manually move the arm.
