She does have some old records. The size is great! Love the look. She loves it!! I am thinking of getting one myself now as I still have old records I would love to play! Great buy!!!!!

I also liked it that it has a remote control. Very handy. The wood case look makes it seem like an older vintage device. They have been super happy with it. And the sound is very good !! I was surprised.

ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IS THAT BESTBUY HAS THE WRONG VIDEO! THE SYSTEM I RECEIVED D0ESN'T HAVE THE RECORD OPTION FOR THE USB STICK, IT HAS THE INTRO BUTTON. ALSO, THE THREE NEEDLES, CLOTH AND USB STICK DO NOT COME WITH THIS NEWER MODEL AND NO AM STATIONS, ONLY FM.

Sound quality issues

The only way I got enough bass was to hook up a sub woofer and turn it up all the way. The sound was best in radio mode (although marginal) which implies low quality pickups in the tape/LP/CD components. The recording from LP & cassette was the main feature I wanted. It did record but playing the thumb drive on a laptop or transferring to a CD produced very poor sound.
