The Victrola - Revolution GO Portable Rechargeable Record Player has been a great addition to my office. It gives it a classic look with a modern touch. I love how portable it is and the fact that it has Bluetooth. This allows me to connect easily with an external Bluetooth speaker for added enjoyment. Another great feature from such a compact player is the ability to play multiple size records with a simple switch adjustment. The lid also serves as a record holder, which makes it even more convenient whenever you’re taking the record player outside of your home. As for the audio quality, it’s great. I love the nostalgia of the Victrola - Revolution GO Portable Rechargeable Record Player with the added modern functions. I would highly recommend the Victrola - Revolution GO Portable Rechargeable Record Player to anyone.

I took a star off because the item is pretty expensive being only a record player. The speakers are pretty good but better to use Bluetooth headphones or speakers is much better. The overall weight is pretty comfortable and unit is built in my opinion very solidly. It comes with all the adapters to play all types of vinyl records but you must manually place the needle to start the player s well I remove the needle when it ends. The unit does stop when it reaches the end so does excessive wear on the needle which is great. The rechargeable battery is nice and pretty long life in excess of 8 hours so far but… What can you use this for is not too clear as my vinyls are precious to me and find it haphazard to carry both the unit and my albums out and about. But I guess it allows me to play my albums at family gatherings where a record player is not available in that person’s house but given how easily all music types are available via the numerous streaming service, I find that also not a real reason to be transporting a 7lb item plus albums. I am sure it will be a niche player for many but nit fir me but still solid 4 stars.

Wow was I pleasantly surprised with this Victrola portable record player. It's compact, lightweight so very portable. But what surprised me was how good my old vinal sounded! It has a setting for 33 or 45, unfortunately I got rid of all those 45's years ago. Still have plenty of 33s though! I have a large garage/work area. This portable payer is great because I can listen to my old vinal records while I'm working on a project. It doesn't even need to be plugged in (after charging). Really great item.

First of all, I love purchasing and listening to records. So when I saw this item coming out I had to jump on it. I soon realized however, that it seems to be a step back in the portable music market. When you think about the progression, portability is the main reason why records went away in the first place. Tapes, CDs, MP3s, then eventually streaming came to be the convenient method of listening to music on the go and when traveling. So why would you want to lug around a record player with a stack of vinyl's with you when you are out and about or traveling? It is more of a gimmick if you ask me, but I could see a few scenarios in which portability can be useful. One scenario would be if a relative digs out their old record collection but haven't owned a record player for several years or decades. This could lead to a great bonding moment. You can dust off their old records and have a great time. Another scenario would be if you are a record/vinyl aficionado and have a friend or friends that are curious and want to experience it for themselves. You can take it with you and show off your taste and knowledge of the vinyl record. Now on to the performance and features. The record player is very compact and has a convenient guitar strap. I hope that the internals of the player remain intact if it is carried around for a long trip or walk. You pop open the case and push the big button/volume know and you are ready to go. I played a brand new vinyl on it and I was pleasantly surprised. It sounded very good and I was pretty happy with the sound. The speakers are good, not great. It does get loud too when you need it to, but they sound quality is not there. I then put it into pairing mode and connected it to a big Sony Bluetooth speaker I have. Wow, a whole different experience. It sounded crisp and clear and with no pops or hisses or anything. The record was new, but I feel that the player produced the sound at a very high level. I believe it uses an entry level Audio Technica stylus. But a dedicated speaker is the way to go. You can also have the record player receive Bluetooth and you can use the player's speakers to stream off your phone or other music device. I would not recommend this unless you are at said relative or friend's house and you have exhausted your record collection and want to stream music and have literally no other speaker to do so. Overall I think that this is a really nice record player. The built in speakers are nice to have so that it is an all in one self contained unit. A step above the suitcase players but below a nice day to day stationary record player. It would be hard to be disappointed in this player since it does everything as advertised and yet can be carried anywhere you want to take a record player. The questions is when would you?

    The best portable option.

This turned out to be a category which was a bit trickier than I expected - in terms of comparing the offerings. I am a bit of an audiophile and the specs listed for portable units are, shall we say, scant. At $200 it will fool no one in to thinking that they are in a concert hall. But for what it is, the sound is pretty good. A less obvious virtue is that the Revolution Go has a magnetic cartridge that tracks at about .3 grams. That seems unimpressive when compared to the .04 grams my AT home turntable tracks at, but it turns out to about around half the weight of its cheaper competitors. This not only improves the sound quality, it also means you would be digging ditches in your beloved LPs.

This portable record player has surprisingly amazing sound! I pulled out some of my old albums (40-50 years old), thinking they would not sound very good - but was amazed at how good the quality was. That, combined with the portability of this player, earned all of the five stars. We will be using this a lot - and our records will no longer lay around gathering dust. I highly recommend this Victrola.

We’ve been wanting a record player for quite some time and this one was intriguing because it was portable. We decided to give it a shot and I’d definitely give 5 stars. The sound quality is great and it’s very easy to use. The Bluetooth speaker function is a really nice bonus. The lid doubles as a display holder for the records which is cool and the design is super compact and clean. Overall I’d highly recommend it, especially if you are in the market for a portable one.

I have quite a few old vinyl albums that I've never converted to digital and which aren't available on CD so this seemed like an ideal way to get them converted. It worked fine! I'm not sure if I'll ever use the carrying strap, but it's there if I ever have the urge to spin stax of wax in the boondocks. The bluetooth pairing was easy to use.
