    I bought this to get all of my old family videos from our camcorder. It was easy to set up and navigate.

    Its getting two stars because the physical hardware to connect the media source to the computer seems to work. The software on the other hand has much to be desired. My computer is more than capable, but for some reason I can only record about a half hour of video at a time and then the recording stops. Its not the box, at least as as I can tell because the video is still displayed and the audio works, just that the recording has stopped. I need to try some other free software, I bet something would work way better.

    I haven’t had the chance to hook up my VCR to it yet but I did use my video camera and recorded a video from it and it was very user friendly. I haven’t tried the advanced portion of the program yet but hope to soon.

    I found it difficult to download the disc onto my computer. I have it all loaded, and now can't see how to 'log in'. There is a link on my desktop, but it asks for the Product Key # and when I enter it, it tells me that that number is invalid as it has already been used!!! So frustrating that I can't open it, so my evaluation is based on getting stuck at the open
