    The software needs to be able to create mp4 videos. If it does then i am unable to figure how to do that.

    I bought this back in April but never used it. I opened it for the first time a few minutes ago and during the software installation the unit is never detected.

    Run away from this product. I don't know if it's because it's USB and not a capture card, but the capture quality is shoddy and even worse after editing.

    I had tried the cheaper option available from Best Buy. It never recgonized the video input. This one workef as expected. It was overly difficult to save as mp4. You have to first save as wmv, mpeg. etc.

    It occasionally works fine but it often gets error messages and then fails to burn the dvd. I slowed the burn speed to 4x instead of the standard 8x. Didn’t help.

    Worked as hoped. Quick “wizard” set up was just that. Was digitizing old VHS tapes using old VCR and my laptop in minutes. Editing (if even needed) is a bit more complex, but not difficult.

    I was worried that the program would not work. I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of use with this setup. The hardest part was to find a vcr I could use. I would recomend this product!

    I installed from the CD. It crashed every time I ran it. Then I installed the latest version and drivers from their website. Also crashed. Then installed it on another PC. Both PC's were running Windows 10. Started recording. When it was done, the video file was a still frame picture form the beginning of the video and didn't record video. Tried both the S-Video cable and the composite cable. Doesn't work with either one. Wasted about 4.5 hours trying to get it to work. I was using a Sony Video Camera for input.

    Using windows 10 have tried 3 different computers as per tech support recommendation, first purchase had the wrong key codes, sent back received another. Works fine in easy mode however advanced is a bit confusing, major problem in advanced mode after burning it won't self boot, no satisfaction from product manufacture or Best Buy
