Product software on disc was defective, tech support sent link to install new driver, finally got it to copy and convert a VHS tape, but copy on DV was fuzzy. Tried to convert a 2nd VHS tape and it started out OK but failed to convert. 3rd try was unsuccessful.
Returning product for refund.

After reading all of the reviews and working with the software, all of the bad reviews were confirmed.
We worked with the software for two days. The quality of the digital video is less than the VHS tape. Some recordings would jump, flash, and are jittery. No different after clicking the check box to correct this very problem. After 10 or 15 minutes of recording, computer locks up using a 2018 model Dell with windows 10.
So after doing the best we could with it, it comes down to we bought poor quality software and software is not returnable.

Yes, this is "user friendly" but it gives the impression that any jo-shmo with an old VHS deck can do this. To transfer VHS properly, especially with precious family memories, you need HIGH END gear to get the best out of your footage. Software plugins to bring out the better portions of the video and audio, and a PRO VHS deck with time based correction and high end tracking. These products infuriate me with their sales pitches to make people think they can do this sort of thing themselves.
