This is a great tool to convert your old VHS or vide camera 8mm to digital format. It does not offer many options for conversion but it gets the job done. I used it to review and save videos from 2003 and then uploaded them to Youtube. It's very simple to use although you have to play with it at first.

We had some old VHS tapes that were useless, but thankfully saved an old VHS player, only problem did not have a TV that had the right connections to view. The VHS to DVD hooks up easy, is very simple to use and does a great job!

This VHS to DVD application is easy to use right out of the box. Sets up in minutes and copies a perfect digital copy to your hard drive.

This works great for me. I wanted a system to capture my old VHS and Hi8's and this does a great job doing that. I also wanted a system that the files can be saved in a format so I can use some of my editing programs that I like to use. This does that. I have not tried the VIDBOX editing program since I use my own but it is there if I need it. This is the perfect system for my use.

Easy to work. Great quality. Didn’t take long at all to copy to a dvd.

I’m sure there are other programs that do the same thing but I thought this worked ok. It wasn’t too difficult to figure out & helped me get the videos from the cassette tapes to my computer so I’m glad I bought it.

East to hook up and download. Two programs available: easy mode advanced mode. Easy mode records up to 3 hours if vhs tape while advanced mode records up to roughly 6hours 20minutes. I am only downloading vhs to my computer and I later will use the other program to edit and burn to many DVDs. I am just starting to use this but it seems to be everything that i am looking for.

Was able to transfer my old Hi8 and 8mm tapes to digital. You'll need a working player like the old camcorder or VHS player to transfer. I did the "Easy" method and just made to select S video or RCA, which ever I was using at the time. I had one time where the video was black, so I restarted my computer and it worked. The software is downloaded from a website so I didn't need to hook up my CD-drive for this project. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Software works as described. I did have to turn off my PC Matic security before I was able to download the file. I was able to copy VHS and DVDs to my computer and able to create DVDs.

The software is intuitive and the cable connection box was easy to use. The formats all worked well.

Worked for what I wanted to do. I have some old super 8 tapes that I wanted to make digital and this did it nicely. It was easy to use and provided a good quality end result. Keep in mind that the original super 8 is not at the quality of today but it was at least as good as the super 8 itself. Also there is an option to edit the digital video and add titles and credits, etc. I had fun with that and it added to a better end result. I would recommend this.

Easy to use and the quality of the video is excellent. If need to restore or keep family memories this is a product for you. It is easy to install and use right away.

Had an old verson of this software which gave out after three years (the hardware, not software). It delivers the best transfer from VHS to computer for the money. Very easy to set up and use. My bigest complant is it won't save as .avi but does have extensions that I can use.
