    The VIDBOX is compact and easy to use. I needed to convert many old hi8 camcorder tapes to mp4. It did exactly what I wanted!

    Have used it everyday since purchase to convert my VHS library and have never had a problem. Easy to set up and easy to use. Happy I got it.

    Device worked great the first few times. However using the software included the video started to freeze. Can still use the device to run the signal to Power Director for capturing and bypass the faulty software included with the product.

    Conversion runs smooth. It converts the sound with screeching noise in rare cases. I don't know if this is caused by the converter or the player.
