I have used other transfer methods and one other transfer program. This Vidbox conversion for Windows program is superior to any other method I have tried.

After reading some not-so-good reviews for another similar product I am glad I went with this one. Works flawlessly with Windows 10.

I don't know if it was my computer or not, but the hardware was never recognized by my computer. Ended up returning.

I wasn't overly impressed with this product. All my videos had a green tint at the top of them. You can't return it since it includes licensed software. The only thing you can do is exchange it for the same thing. I returned it hoping a new one wouldn't have the same issue but it did.

Not a great deal. I had many audio issues - I've converted. Any hundreds. This software just wasn't great

Had to return because only the mono channel was working. They didn't have this in store, but had a similar product which ended up working.

After having used an I-Grabber device a few years ago to successfully transfer over 120 vhs tapes to dvd, I stepped away from the process. Recently I decided to resume the project in order to transfer the final 30 tapes to dvd, but as I had since upgraded my Windows 7 to Windows 10, the I-Grabber was no longer compatible, and it no longer worked. Researching the internet for the best quality capture device that would be compatible with Windows 10, this VidBox for PC product was clearly one of the top choices. Yes, it was more expensive than most of the others, but it was worth every extra cent ! It was on sale at Best Buy, so I picked one up at my local store, took it home, and within a few minutes it was loaded and ready to go. It is an incredibly easy product to use, and is almost foolproof. The directions are clear and concise, and if one has properly connected their VCR or other playback device to the VidBox, and then plugged the VidBox USB cable into a PC, there is really nothing to go wrong. Please note that if it appears as if your video on the preview screen is not fully in synch with the audio during the recording process, don't worry. When you check the completed file after you've stopped your recording you will find that everything is fine. Overall, a great product !

The device would make a loud sound while operating. It then stopped working altogether after a week of use.

I purchased this product after returning the Roxio version which was a disaster. (Roxio would not recognize video and the customer support was non-existent.) VidBox worked well immediately. Editing tools are simple. I am very happy to have a reasonable alternative to paying more than $10 a tape to have them converted by commercial services. It is time-consuming since you need to sit through the whole tape. But it has been fun to re-live those past times when kids were little. I was not able to share the videos on ICloud but am using Dropbox. (Always the compatability issues between Apple and Windows products.) I contacted Geek Squad on the compatability issue but they did not seem to have a way around it.

I bought the device over a year ago but just got around to using it. I just transferred 20 or so old home VHS tapes to DVD with no issues at all. As a bonus I was able to transfer the first three Star Wars movies to DVD.s. I have all of the others on DVD. and now don't have to mess with using a VHS player. Please don't hassle me about making the copies. I bought the movies and will use the DVDs only for myself. As far as I am concerned that falls under the Fair Use rules.

Did everything I needed it to do. I only wish the program was a little more simple for us stupid people.
