Unreliable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seems to work great, but is unreliable. Easy setup, easy user interface, but all too frequently it looks like it is recording but then end up with only a second or two of video captured to file. Emailed support and was told to turn off the "check for video signal" check box, but didn't help. I see video in the monitor window, so video is there, but for some reason doesn't write the data to the file. Too frustrating, so will be returning this.

That cable was not in the box and Best Buy does not sell them. So, I had to order it from Amazon. I'll get it late NEXT WEEK! Ugh. So much for a weekend project. Caveat emptor.
