I have a ton of video footage on VHS tapes from the early 2000s. I am glad I found this software with adapter so I can transfer my memories.

love capturing my old VCR tapes, You can watch ,listen to the sound at the same time while recording ! . Back then when you had a video conversion, you were not able to hear it . How times changed !!!!!!!!

VidBox Conversion is a simple user friedly analog to digital transfer solutio . The procees of transferring your "tape" videos (VHS, 8mm) to digital is a breeze. It's critical that you have ame storage space in order to save to your file. My experience is that each 2hr tape conerts to approx. a 4GB MPEG-4 movie file.

A wedding was saved on VHS, so I needed analog to digital conversion. Bought it, took it home, hooked up hardware, downloaded software. I watched and captured video and copied it to memory stick. A happy wife is a good thing. Made sure customer understood final product is only as good as original.

I needed to transfer from VHS to a digital format (where I could share them to FB/iPhone). Worked perfectly.

Works perfects to covert VHS tapes with a Mac! A must have and easy to work with.

Does exactly what it says. Used with Mac Airbook and worked like a charm. The build quality is fairly cheap, but that's not really the point here, as it does what it is meant to do. It doesn't look as sharp as let's say the El Gato (which created a background whitenoise I could not remove - probably an isolated occurance; same tapes used for same project, no white noise with Honestech). The only thing I would change here, is the Video Conversion software... it's VERY VERY bare bones. Maximum setting it 3 hours, so LP 6 hour tapes must be paused at 3 hours. Some other nuiances.

I had a different device, purchased a few years ago and had used a few times with satisfactory but not wonderful results. Somewhere, I lost one of the components. Instead of replacing the lost part, I did my research and I decided to try the Vidbox. It has worked well. It is simpler than my previous device, and the resulting videos are superior. It may have cost a few dollars more, but when attempting to archived family videos on a digital format, it is more than worth the extra money.

This is so simple to use and fantastic to use. Make transfer a breeze. Will do DVDs as well as VHS. Great buy at great price

Great fir converting videos a fun little kit to use it saves time

This works great and I got good customer support when I had some confusion about setting it up at first. It's easy to set up but you need to be sure to allow access to both your camera and your mic for it to work. That's what I did wrong (not allowing both) on the first attempt.

I have tried other products that say they do the same thing but they don’t work. Very easy to use. Two thumbs !

I like this little Vidbox. I do wish you could customize the settings so it would make the old footage a higher resolution when in the Vidbox software. I found some old digital 8mm tapes and hooked my computer up the Vidbox, and the Vidbox was able to see my camera input pretty easily. I am happy with this Vidbox. I do wonder if the name Vidbox could be changed to Videobox.

Love this product because I can use iton both iOS and windows. Once I figured out how things worked the process was very easy. Transferred more than 300 hours from VHS to DVD. Had to do this through the old VHS video camera. My DVD converter had an issue with a video card and this was much cheaper than buying a new one. Took the same amount of time to do the transfers.

I used the Windows version on Windows 10. Video files easily converted. I was able to convert several old videos from VHS and 8mm over to digital files without any problems. There is an included basic editing program, but I didn't use it. I will edit the files in another program down the road. Works as expected.
