The install was just ok. I thought the wiring could have been a lot neater. No zip ties, or anything to organize. The amp does not work properly. It cuts off after a few minutes. It was like that when geek squad. Said they didn’t know what to do. I was told that sonance would contacted. One of the ceiling speakers does not work.

i have no confidence in best buy every use of Total Tech i’ve paid for has required multiple visits. Agents are not trained or prepared to perform work per industry standards. Best buy has no accountability for damages/repairs to my home

The installation from Best Buy was through a third party contractor and it is awful. You can see in the picture it’s not even straight. They didn’t even install the piece that gets connected to the chime to give it a little more power (not the transformer.). When I asked him if he was going to he said “no they don’t need it.” After he left I checked and it says specifically for the door bell pro 2 it needs it. So I went back and installed it myself. Would not recommend getting a door bell installed by them.

If you’re doing electric wired, do not hire Best Buy. They totally screwed up my old doorbell. I have a giant hole in my wall where my doorbell was and paid $130 for an electrician and still was not working they never sent a technician and therefore I could not hook up my floodlight camera either. What a disaster. Sales person Rome was very helpful

HORRIBLE! Didn't have the proper tools didn't have a clue of what to do. Unnecessary Holes in our brick and it didn't last. We ended up having to repair what he messed up and install it ourselves. We should be compensated instead of him. The pics were taken right after he left. A rating of 1 star is too high.

Tech showed up at my door without calling or texting in advance; and left when there was an obvious problem with the product (see photo).

Ring doorbell installed incorrect and incomplete with screws. I had to have redone. Definitely I want to request a refund. I did go into the store with photos of the job.

Terrible install. Bell does not ring inside and wires were left exposed. So much for security! Very obvious that our installer was not qualified. Now we have to hire an electrician to get it done correctly.

Door ring still not installed, the contractor, after waiting 2 weeks said we needed an electrician, the geeks were first that we wanted, they sent a contractor

Geek Squad agent did a great job installing the doorbell camera and I feel safer.

I was glad I opted to have this installed professionally and connected to my existing doorbell instead of trying to do it myself or choosing the battery option. The technician knew what he was doing and was very helpful: the possible time was set up the night before and he called when he was an hour away.

The tech is a very nice guy but every time he comes to my house he sits in one of my dining chairs and asks to use my bathroom. I don’t recall any other trades ever doing this so it doesn’t feel right. That’s the only reason for a 4 star instead of 5.

Eufy doorbell Installed by the Geek Squad. Some issues with getting it to ring/notify on my IPhone 16. However, they researched and figured it out. They stayed until they double checked it to make sure everything worked correctly.

He came did his best could not get the new one to work so he helped me order what I needed and came back installed that one and it works like a champ.

The technician installed my wired Ring Doorbell correctly and quickly! He answered all my questions and helped me understand the Ring app functionally in an easy to understand way.
