My agent, Brian was a tremendous help in installing our smart doorbell! He tried to help us back in early March but we ordered the wrong doorbell since it was not compatible with our house. Brian wrote the exact model that we needed and what other things that we needed in order to get it installed. We got it exchanged in store back before COVID. But due to COVID and not being saavy enough to install it ourselves, we had to reschedule the service for May. Brian returned and helped us again! This time, he came prepared with all safety precautions with a mask, gloves, goggles and stayed 6ft apart. He went above and beyond and we are thankful to have the total tech support to help with our new smart home installations!

I have no issues with works great color sound and the best for me was that it was wired. The only thing is that sadly I had to replace it with a battery operated one because since it connects where your original door bell is ( which location is defeating the view purpose), but the camera itself I loved it and if I could move my home doorbell to a center or better view position I would have stayed with this camera. If your house bell is in a good view position for you this is the camera to get, I strongly recommend. No need to worry about battery changing and works beautifully.

I highly recommend the Best Buy Geek Squad for all those tech fixes!

we got incredible service from Andersen, the Geek Squad tech who came out. He was personable, knowledgeable and had answers to any questions we posed. It was obvious that he took pride in his work and that he was intent on proving the best service possible. It was clear that he cared. He was going to do the best job possible and he did. Andersen is a true company asset, who was so impressive that we asked if he could arrange the wall mounting of one of our TVs. He is planning that out now, looking for the full-motion mount we had described to him. He is a great Best Buy ambassador who makes you want to do further business with the company.

The installation was fast and efficient. They answered any questions we had. Would definitely use again.

There have been a lot of break-ins in my neighborhood recently. I decide to purchase a Smart Ring Door Bell from Best Buy and had it installed. It works flawlessly. The only thing that I don't like about it is that you have to constantly charge it. Easy, but removing the doorbell every time to do this is a hassle. Luckily, I haven't lost the tiny screws while removing this. I also bought a Ring light and solar device and had the Geek Squad install it above my garage. Together they work great. Someone rings my doorbell and I can answer it from a remote location on my iPhone. I am at Starbucks and the person at my door doesn't know that I am not home. Very cool and so many other features too.

Jane called in advance notifying me of arrival. And then installed showed the family how to use the system within a matter of minutes.

Tech team able to install doorbell and chime much more efficiently than I could have. Worth the money.

Mr. Daniels, Agent and Mr. Jose, Cadet came timely for his appointment on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 8:30 AM. I received a text telling me what time they were arriving and they did. They were very professional. This is my second time having Mr. Daniels perform his services for customers. Mr. Daniels' knowledge, skills, and abilities continue to be outstanding. He demonstrated expert proficiency in knowing how to install a Ring Bell. He was very personable, compassionate, and helped me with my app, passwords, and how to open and install my batteries, and he trained his cadet as well. I am thankful he is an employee with your company. HE IS THE BEST!!!

The installer was efficient, professional and patient. Unknowing to us, our router was defective and made the installation difficult. He informed us to contact our provider for possible replacement. After the new router was installed, and the echo arrived, the same installer came back and reconnected the ring to the echo. He was extremely patient with us and explained everything. He is a great asset to your team.

My appointment was quick and the Geek Squad's installation was professional and efficient! However I purchased these doorbells mainly to be able to instantly respond to someone ringing my doorbell! After several attempts to get assistance from Blink customer service, I now understand that you will not have instant response unless you have fiber optics! Without the fiber optics, there is an annoying delay that apparently can't be rectified without the fiber optic speed! Very disappointing!

John was incredibly well-versed and helpful. He even taught how to use the gadgetry in record time! He's a good communicator.

Actual Install went well. However, getting it scheduled with customer service was frustrating. Agent insisted he was required to make 2 separate appointments - 1 for delivery, and the other for install - on 2 different dates. In actuality, the guy that delivered also did the install, all during a single visit. However I still kept getting alerts for the 2nd visit even though technician had cancelled.

My install was for a Ring Video Doorbell. The install guy set up the physical video doorbell pretty quickly and fully explained how to use it (it has a special screwdriver that comes with it that is necessary to unlock the covering when you need to change batteries etc)...unfortunately the entire Ring website was down on the day that we were trying to install, so we couldn't connect & complete or test the install that day & had to reschedule to complete the install another week but it was very clear to me (talking on phone with the Ring customer service people) that this was a truly unusual and serious Ring problem (nothing to do with Best Buy)...and although a different guy came out from Best Buy to complete the installation/get everything connected & test for function, he was also very helpful and explained in detail when answering my many questions.

I was mislead thinking that the actual "Geek Squad" was sending out their team to install however not the case - a contract agent arrived and he immediately let me know he was behind schedule and could not take extra time with answering questions. I later got the questions that I had answered ( after install ) by a Geek Squad employee.

The couple arrived on time. They weren't specifically aware of what needed to be installed. They were pleasant. The husband wanted to know why we chose the wireless battery ring doorbell & rear camera. He said he was an electrician & could have easily run the wires to connect. (We ordered what was recommended by Best Buy after an in home visit. (note : there was a screwup in that the items did not get delivered by the installation date, so we had to go to 2 different Best Buy stores to pick up the items. Managers at both Vernon Hills & Gurnee were very helpful.) They did not know how to customize the viewing or it would have been 5.
