I spent several days looking at and studying reviews from a LOT of sites. It's tough finding Gsync on a great monitor over 24". Monitors suffer the same issues as TVs: you see a large bump in price beyond 24" just as you do 55" on a TV. After all that deliberation, I settled on the Viewsonic Elite. All my work and entertainment is on my PC, so a monitor purchase is pretty important. The picture quality is superb! It arrived early, of all things, and not a single pixel issue. The mood lighting for romantic RGB getaways at your PC--which is a little weird unless you're a streamer with a rave happening at your desk--works as advertised but I have mine off. Color reproduction is beautiful, gamma and contrast have a wide range, and after some configuration through Nvidia, I am highly satisfied. The price is worth the monitor! NEVER get anything under 1440 resolution if you're going 27" :)

I've always spent more money on my PC components, leaving whatever was left over for the monitor, so this is my first higher performance monitor. Apparently I've been missing out. Out of the box it feels high end. The stand is sturdy, and brushed metal, and the overall weight is heavy. Once put together and on my desk it is absolutely solid--bumping knees aren't going to make this thing quiver. Also, it has excellent adjustment range, and the lift in it is hydraulic or spring or something because it raises and lowers super easily. The menu and navigation are easy to use and adjust. The colors and brightness are excellent. I had seen reviews referencing bleedthrough, but I don't notice anything of the sort. The 1440 is a HUGE upgrade from my prior 1080 that I hadn't really anticipating looking so much better, but I don't think I could ever go back. Speaking of not being able to go back: G-sync. It's amazing. Most the games I'm playing run between 70 and 144hz, and I was pretty content before switching, but I know better now! G-sync has made gameplay so freaking smooth that it alone has made this monitor worth it for me. My only complaint is the rgb software. I downloaded the viewsonic software and it has many functions that it says aren't available until an update (all latest downloads have been installed). On top of that, the functions it does support randomly reset from your settings. I have set it several times to match my rig and after some time I will find it cycling through it's demo colors again and flashing. It is supposed to have other rgb software that supports it, but when I tried to use them they couldn't find the device. My solution: rgb is turned off and out of my mind. Overall review: excellent gaming monitor, of which my only complaint is something that in no way affects image quality or gameplay. 5 stars in my book because rgb is not important to me. Buy it!

With monitors each panel can vary wildly so my experience may not be yours. That said my overall experience is great. The colors and picture is superb and despite thinking my previous monitor was pretty good I can actually see my enemy far better with this screen. The monitor also performs well for me on ultra overdrive (I havent noticed reverse ghosting but some others have) seems very quick smooth and responsive, I cannot tell its IPS and not TN based on speed alone. My only complaints would be a very small amount of backlight bleed on bottom left (not as bad as other panels ive tried, again panels vary and you could have little to none) and the OSD seems a bit underwhelming, especially compared to gigabyte monitors

This monitor is fantastic. Using it for both gaming and content. You can’t go wrong, it is worth the money for sure. The picture is beautiful – The stand it very solid and adjustable with a built in USB hub.

Amazing looking monitor. I was surprised at how much better the colors were on this than my previous gaming monitor. GSync took awhile to setup on my desktop (monitor requires no configuration) but once it was setup it was fantastic. I could never go back to the monitor I was using. The stand is a little awkward and its a hard metal that scratched my glass desk slightly.

I bought this based on the overall great reviews from websites and users online. G-Sync is incredible and the 1440p resolution is crisp. Just upgraded from a decade old 1080p 60hz monitor so its definitely a big step up. Colors are great but be prepared to play around with the Display Settings though. The out of the box settings for me looked washed out and the screen was very bright. I prefer my screen to be a bit darker than probably most people so maybe I'm the exception. Play around with "Input Range > Limited Range vs Full Range" to see what suits you. This is what I used as well: Contrast 70, Brightness 50, and Saturation 100. Other options: Game Mode : Standard with Dark Boost Level 1, Display Settings: 6-axis color: leave at default, Color Temperature: Native, Gamma 2.2 Wish the monitor had a dedicated button to switch between HDMI and Displayport. I don't like having to flick the joystick nub at the bottom then select the input choice. Just a minor inconvenience for me.

This is a "True" G-Sync monitor! None of this free sync, G-Sync compatible BS is included in this monitor. View Sonic has made an amazing IPS 2K 165mzh G-Sync Gaming Monitor!! Yes its a tad pricey but if you have a Nvidia graphics card, then you owe it to your self to buy a true G-Sync monitor, anything else is like putting street tires on a race car... do yourself a favor and put racing tires on your race car, you wont regret it!

Good quality product from viewsonic. G-sync works great out of box. QHD quality is awesome. RGB is cool. You have to use one of the compatible software though. Nice attachment for the headphones.

It wasn't the best monitor with backlight and edge bleed. One of the corners was noticeably brighter than the others, however, the GSYNC worked well. In the end though I returned it.

The colors really pop-out, it might be from the Nano IPS panel. And as a fan of NVIDIA, i really wanted an actual G-SYNC module in there, instead of the "compatible" software. The stand is fully adjustable and it has great organization features like the headphone hook and mouse bungee. If you want one of the fastest (1ms GtG) IPS 1440p G-SYNC in the market - this is it.

We got this monitor after reading a review in PC Magazine. It has fully met our expectations. Highly recommended by my wife who is the primary user. No problems after weeks of use.

This was a Christmas gift. My son loves it. He was using my monitor because his broke. Plus I got my monitor back.

Incredible colors, amazing brightness, It feel amazing to play games on this. I have played a ton of Overwatch and it felt great. I love the stand! GSync is a game changer. Can recommend this monitor to any gamer, this is the one to get.

I love this monitor. It's very sharp and quick, and after over a year of use I can comfortably say it's very high-quality. I haven't had any issues so far at all.

This was a gift recommendation for our youngest son from gamer to another.
