ViewSonic is the best monitor I have ever used

The ViewSonic 32" 4k UHD Monitor is the very best monitor I have ever owned. It's not just the stunning color and clarity, but it is also the thought put into the product. The monitor has connection for usb devices, which certainly simplifies wiring and preserves ports on the computer itself. The support is sturdy and flexible -- being able to raise and lower the monitor is a plus, along with being able to tilt it -- all without any danger it will fall off the mounts. I never realized the nuanced colors of my email service provider before this monitor. The quality and color overtakes any other monitor I have had for home use. There is one more thing about the monitor -- it can be plugged right into the power outlet, instead of having a bulky transformer / power supply. One would think that other manufacturers would put that into the monitor and streamline the installation. This may be a minor consideration but the attention to such details in a quality product are certainly a plus.

    Pricey But Worth It…

I bought a pair of these to replace my two Viewsonic VP2770-LED 27" monitors that were still running well after 7 and 8 years. The pros are obviously the amount of available viewable space. The image quality (color range, brightness, resolution) are in line with what I expect from Viewsonic. The smallest fonts are crystal clear and professional software Adobe, Capture One, Autodesk, etc. look great and work well with this display. Software (vDisplay Manager) included with the monitor further extends its functionality by allowing you to mix-and-match all of the video signals coming into the monitor. The number (4) and variety of video-in connectors is a definite plus. I am able to run dual monitors from both my primary and secondary workstations using the DisplayPort and mini-DisplayPort. The monitor audio-out jack provides excellent sound quality. I groaned when reading “2-internal Speakers” in the Specifications, but have come to appreciate them. I have a server motherboard in my primary workstation and it lacks amenities like rear audio outputs; I was forced to use headphones until now. The monitor audio sounds exactly as described, like audio coming from the backside of internal monitor speakers. It is “good enough” when I need to hear sound without headphones. Mind you, the audio-out jack provides sound that is magnitudes superior to the internal speakers. As in the past, this monitor includes respectable USB connector support. I’m still using the included monitor stand which is top notch and will hold any vertical and rotational position it is set to. The onboard monitor settings support a wide range of customizable settings as well as easily accessible presets. The only mild downside to this monitor is the placement of on-board monitor setting buttons. They are placed on the lower-right backside of the monitor. While I understand their placement from a design perspective, they are difficult to access when you have two monitors sitting side by side. You basically need to feel your way around for the buttons on the left monitor. Having said that, I am happy with my purchases and expect to get 7-8 years out of these monitors. I would still have my 27” monitors if it weren’t for one bad DisplayPort on one monitor. The image quality never dropped off and I expect the same of my pair of VP3268-4K.

I needed a 4k monitor for telecommuting during COVID, and did not want to spend a lot of money. The quality of this ViewSonic is excellent and the price is very reasonable.

I love this monitor. The colors are spot on and it can be recalibrated. If I needed to I would buy another one of these. Great deal

Great monitor for photoshop. It is anti-glare and at 32" easy on the eyes. I now use it for everything and it is hooked to my Surface laptop 3. As usual read up about the monitor before you purchase it to make certain it fits your needs. It can be in Portrait or Landscape mode with the included stand.

My previous monitor was a Samsung LCD 27" display 1920x1080 that I bought in 2011. 9 years, and it was great, but it started not wanting to power on, so I started looking for a new one. I edit photos, run a band webpage, and do music and general internet, and I spend a lot of time on my computer. Since my previous monitor outlasted a couple of computers, I wanted to upgrade now to a really better one. Yes, this ViewSonic is expensive, but if it lasts, it's worth it. Wow, the difference! This monitor is 32", 3840x2160, but seems twice as big as my old one. The display is crisp and flawless. Photos are stunning. Webpages are HUGE, there are more Stations on my XM page, more icons on my top bar, more of everything, and yet words and letters are even crisper. It's really a flawless picture. Even better is the functionality of this monitor. The stand is brilliantly designed. You can easily raise it up or push it down with just a little push, and it stays put where you want it. The base of the stand swivels 120 degrees, so you can turn it to the side if you move to another part of the room but still want to see it full on. But even at weird angles, the picture is still crisp. There are no bad angles. You can also angle it forward or backward easily, and it stays put. The instructions also showed how you can pivot it from landscape to portrait orientation, but I don't use that and haven't tried it personally. The other cool functionality is all of the connecting jacks it has. It has 4 spare USB ports, which is super useful. I plugged my keyboard, mouse receiver, and external CD/DVD burner into them, and they all work great. The sound is carried by the HDMI cable, and I plugged my external speakers and subwoofer into the monitor's audio out jack, and they sound excellent. The only negative I have is that the buttons you use to adjust contrast, color, etc, are on the back of the monitor and aren't super easy to use. Once you get it set though, holy cow this is a flawless monitor. It's expensive but perfect in picture and functionality.
