Issue after Issue until it died

When it arrived, it had a bad pixel in the upper left corner. It was not really noticeable, so I just ignored it. Well, about a week ago the monitor started displaying a bunch of colored lines at the bottom when it started or woke up from sleep mode. It went away in less than a minute so I ignored it. Now the monitor has completely stopped working and just stays black.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
