This was for replacing an old key fob on my viper system. The characters on the old one had started rubbing off, I've had the system for several years. Both key fobs work great.

I can't tell you how great this is as an addition to my alarm. It works from inside my concrete office to my car parked a hundred yards away. It's very thin and you won't even know it's in your pocket. I charge it every two months!

In the specifications it says up to 2 mile range. Realistically, it will work long distance only if you have direct view of your vehicle. When going through walls, your range is reduced to a mere few hundred feet. In the box, I didn't find a user manual so I had to pull one from online. Button combinations are confusing, there are some unique and interesting features but they require unusual button combinations that are difficult to remember. The battery life of this remote is EXCELLENT. It can easily be used for 2 months without needed to be charged. Overall, I enjoy the product as it lets me remotely start my vehicle from the 4th floor of my building.

This product is very helpful if you live in a cold state. You can start your car everywhere in the house and it will let you know if the car is turn on or not with the beeping sounds. Great product. Worth the money.

My primary reason for upgrading to this particular fob is because it's a 2-way device. A 2-way gives confirmation that the vehicle got the signal and is running. The standard fob doesn't perform those functions. The signal easily goes through multiple walls and floors and starts the car right away. I like the fact that it's rechargeable through a USB port and I don't have to worry about running out of batteries. It's easy to check the amount of power left in the unit and it's very simple to use. It was fully charged 6 weeks ago and still has half power remaining. Getting the 2-way system is a must. Reassuring to know if the command went through or not immediately after pressing. It has great range as well. I'm able to start my car while on the second windowless floor to my car in a parking lot that's over 1/2 a mile long!

This is a must have addition to the remote start especially since it works for up to a mile Can start my car from the back of the building and by the time I get out its warm

Finally, a key fob that works for my remote car start and is not made of cheap plastic. Works great. Easy to use. Buttons are large and easy to see. Made out of metal and plastic for long reliability

This was a replacement for the same one that had died. It lasted about four years but because I am an auto technician, it got put through a lot. From chemical spills to tools hitting it and insane drops…it took a lot. So, it’s been great. Side note, Best Buy tried hard to make me set up an appointment with an installer to pair it to the car (remember, its a replacement remote.) Said, you can’t do it yourself….even got offended when I said anyone can, it’s right in the user instructions. I dont mind buying at Best Buy, but I have no use for anyone even remotely connected to geek squad. They always know more than i do, i rarely find they do.

This is an important part to the remote start that you don’t want to skimp on. The range is fantastic and I purchased this so when my daughter leaves her classes or wife leaves a store, the car is ready to go and there is no need to set in a dark parking lot waiting for the car to warm up. Seams a little pricy but you will be glad in the end that you spent the extra money.

This works for me through many walls between my office at work & where I park. Feel of it has some weight & feels good quality. This upgrade from the original extends the distance & also lets you know it worked when you can’t see your vehicle from where you are starting it from.

Super easy to pair. The package instruction no good. Watch the YouTube video. Let it play in background and follow along. Literally took 1 minute. I love this 2way remote, it chirps at me to tell me things are running smooth. Yes, pricey, but its worth it to me. I know best buy will back me up if I have trouble.

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST REMOTE STARTERS. Its especially great for days when the weather is at extremes cold or hot,save a lot of time just sitting waiting for vehicle to warm or cool.Great for days when you entertaining a date.The range for starting your vehicle is up to one full mile with direct access. Would totally recommend this starter to others.

It is about time for key fob to get with the time and change to rechargeable battery. Now I will never have to worry about buying and installing batteries at the most inconvenient time. The buttons are bigger than the previous Viper key fob I owned and it is slightly slimmer as well. It is overall a welcomed modern update.

Can’t complain for this stuff been there than that. Over the past decade living in Mid west, I got the same stuff on my vehicle. Never gets too old. Never fade.

Ease of installation will be vehicle specific, but the remote has a very decent range, remote start works everytime and even has an aux option you can wire to run something like a rear defroster. Great value for what you pay.

Purchased for a replacement and it works just fine, the programing to my vehicle was very easy. Anyone can do it themselves!

This gives me longer range and the two way feature gives me assurance that my car actually turned on compare to my old remote. Single charge holds more than a week before I have to charge it again. I recommend this product

Very easy to pair remote with your starting system. Works very well , with good distance even from inside a retail building.
