Absolutely love this new fob! At first I was iffy about having a 2nd fob with all these buttons when I already have a car key that has all the same ones except the remote start. However, it is nice peace of mind when I press the lock doors button on my car key & the viper key fob lock door button blinks green and beeps, confirming my doors are indeed locked. It also has longer range than my car keys, so if I am halfway across the apartment parking lot and forgot to lock the doors, this fob eases my mind about clicking the button and the locks actually engaging.

Works well. I like that it beeps to let me know the car is started. The starter works from a good distance. Great size.

Awesome Remote! Says 1 mile range and I’d say that’s pretty close if you are in a wide open area. I love the 2 way feature on this remote, so that you know if the command that you sent to the car was received or not. It is rechargeable, so you don’t have to constantly replace batteries either. Just plug it in to a micro usb cord and you’re good. I would definitely recommend this remote.

This was for replacing an old key fob on my viper system. The characters on the old one had started rubbing off, I've had the system for several years. Both key fobs work great.

I wish this was included with the kit and not have to buy separate. But it does works very well and sleek. Rechargable when plugged in. And range of 1mile

I upgraded to the Viper 2-way remote since I park a couple of blocks from my work with walls (buildings) between my office and car. It works great! Starts every time and sends me confirmation. The only negative is, which I didn't realize when I purchased it, that it needs to be charged and it did not come with a charging cord.

Best purchase ever because you get feedback when you press the button of a green light that it worked. The remote that comes with the product is not that helpful; you might as well spend the extra money on this one.

A must have with the viper system. This remote enables the start from a far distance. Truly worth the upgrade. No more cold vehicle to get into.

I don’t know why this is not included with the remote start kit right from the start. Other then to get an extra C note. Come on Viper. Best Buy was great in installing and recommended to upgrade to the 2-way remote. Now you know the car actually starts, locks etc. The crew that works the shop in Bellingham are top notch. Keep up the fantastic customer service.

Has a 1-mile range. I can start the car on the way down my office building and it’ll be warm and ready for me. The key gives feedback via lights and sounds that it successfully completed the command given.

I really like this remote. It added an extra half mile to the range, making it a full mile and I can start my car from inside ant building just about. The only things I don’t like is that the confirmation beeps aren’t loud enough and there are no instructions. I had to go to the internet to find out all the features. There are many!

Works through walls, buildings and more! Once I was across the street from the parking deck up high on the 14 floor and the car was deep in the parking deck and it still fired the car up!!!

Paid an extra $100 for the remote with my car starter system, but it is worth it to know that the care has started since it is a 2-way system. Nothing worse than thinking your car is started and then you get out there and it is cold. With the 2-way remote, which is programed during installation, that won't happen. You always know.

Bought this in addition to a Viper autostart system. The base remote is 1-way so this is an upgrade because it has separate lock, unlock and autostart buttons and a 2 way features that pings your Remote when the car is successfully auto started... but I paid $200 for the autostart system so $100 for a Key is a little outrageous.
