Nice range of about 1/2 mile battery life is good .

If you decide to buy the viper DS4plus, buying this extra five button remote will save you a big headache. The one button remote that comes packaged with DS4plus is horribly terrible. The extra remotes have different price points since there are different models to choose from. Once again talk with an experienced live autotech.

Remote is easy to use and added features I didn't have before like locking/unlocking my doors.

Upgraded to this remote from a single button remote. It has an aluminum key ring attached to the remote, so you don't have to worry about it breaking. Nice features.

A lot better than the single button remote. Allows you to know if ur vehicle has been started or not.

for the price,worth it. median price. I like to start my car in the before I unlock my truck w/o unlocking my vehicle. toasty when I get in or vise versa Summer weather. Leave your AC on, When you remotely start your vehicle inside your home or w/in reasonable distance you unlock your vehicle.

The upgraded remote makes it great for longer distance parking and also shows on the remote that the vehicle is running

At first i was kind of hesitant about the distance/range of the remote. But i gotta tell u i can start my car and activate my alarm from a great distance through doors, brick and mortar from an apartment on the 3rd floor. And my car can be parked two buildings away. Very impressed

Very good - reliable. After initial install the “brain” malfunctioned so had to go back for another one free but the fob had to be replaced so I had to shell out another $99. Has worked fine ever since. Only other drawback is the fob has to be recharged every 2-3 weeks. I use the charging cable in my vehicle which is convenient because I tend to forget.

Needed a new one the old one fell apart. This one better quality. They knew exactly what was needed and had it fixed and usable in no time.

Strongly recommend adding this two-way remote to the basic DS4 remote start system. You won’t be sorry! I tried both remotes and quickly grew frustrated with the basic one. This one works great and is rechargeable via micro USB!
