Has a 1-mile range. I can start the car on the way down my office building and it’ll be warm and ready for me. The key gives feedback via lights and sounds that it successfully completed the command given.

I really like this remote. It added an extra half mile to the range, making it a full mile and I can start my car from inside ant building just about. The only things I don’t like is that the confirmation beeps aren’t loud enough and there are no instructions. I had to go to the internet to find out all the features. There are many!

Paid an extra $100 for the remote with my car starter system, but it is worth it to know that the care has started since it is a 2-way system. Nothing worse than thinking your car is started and then you get out there and it is cold. With the 2-way remote, which is programed during installation, that won't happen. You always know.

Bought this in addition to a Viper autostart system. The base remote is 1-way so this is an upgrade because it has separate lock, unlock and autostart buttons and a 2 way features that pings your Remote when the car is successfully auto started... but I paid $200 for the autostart system so $100 for a Key is a little outrageous.

Works through walls, buildings and more! Once I was across the street from the parking deck up high on the 14 floor and the car was deep in the parking deck and it still fired the car up!!!

Bought This extra Remote to go with my viper remote start system range is great, and shows you when car is running. and rechargeable. Always used viper products.

The remote works pretty well. My only complaint is that range is about half of the advertised amount of one mile. I work in a school that’s over 100 years old with concrete walls and the remote is able to start my truck about a half mile away. Over all I am satisfied and would recommend!

A must it tells you that your car has started. they tell me it has a range of 2 to 3 blocks> Door locks and open buttons.

solid built remote and user friendly. Always enjoy being able to recharge battery instead of having to replace them all the time.

It’s always good to add an extra touch to the remote start button. Just in case by mistake you hit the engine activation. I did 2 clicks for it to start

I have this remote on my Viper 4806v & DS4 & it’s one of the best 2 way remotes I’ve ever used. It’s also a successor to the 7856v. The difference is this one is rechargeable. I’ve gotten up to 3 months use before having to recharge it which takes less than an hour. It doesn’t come with a cord to charge it. The type used is the same for most major mobile phone carriers.

I purchased this as an upgrade for my remote start and am very glad I did. Unlike my old remote it locks and unlocks the doors with the touch of a button rather than having to do it manually. Only thing I don’t like is although I am very careful, the alarm frequently goes off when I hit the start button. Not great at 6am when you have neighbors

Is a very reliable good looking remote start control. It is really expensive over $120. Other than that works really good.

I did plenty of research before deciding that the Viper 2-way remote starter was best for me. It's gota sleek and user-friendly remote, very lightweight, plus it has an app I downloaded , which makes starting or locking remotely very, very easy. I use it daily and love it.

I love the convenience. It is easy to use and comes with a charging port. I don’t have to bother about changing batteries

Down here in Mississippi it doesn’t get very cold but we have very hot summers so I am looking forward to getting in my truck after it has been remotely started and the a/c cooling it off! I have also enjoyed the starter because of the cold snap we had this year, it’s always nice and toasty in the truck when I get in it not to mention no scraping ice or anything off the windshield!
