    I like the fact that this remote is re-chargeable and the recharge those hold for a good time. When the charge is low it will start beeping to let you know that it's time.

    Originally thought it would be a pain to have to charge the remote as opposed to having a battery in it but it hasn’t been bad and keeps a long charge.

    The remote that comes with the system needs more range so I would invest in this, plus its cheaper then buying another key fob form your dealer normally.

    I bought this Viper remote start kit for my wife’s car and the standard remote that came with the kit malfunctioned within a year of having it. I am in the process of having the old remote exchanged for a new one and Viper said it could take up to a month. I bought this remote in the mean time for my wife. She loves it. She loves the fact that she knows the car received the transmitted click and it either worked or didn’t. No more guessing if the car got turned on or not. Also the extra lock and unlock function is a plus.
