If you live in Chicago aka Chiberia, you need to invest in a remote start system. So, I bought one for my son as a Christmas present. He has a 2003 Chevy Cavalier. Bought it on sale plus the installation was free. The installers in their Crestwood auto dept were really nice. They explained how it works, and gave us some pointers. We had it installed day after Christmas, and is working good so far.

Installation takes 3?hours do get a ride. Great product. Installer is great. Upgrade to the better remote. Shows interior temperature, if vehicle did in fact start, if the vehicle is locked or not and how long the car going run. Wonderful product .

As of now and so far, it seems to be working fine took about 3 1/2 hours for insulation which was about an hour over what they told me but that’s fine as well and it was installed professionally and seems like properly

Working great it’s nice to know on these winter days that you could start your vehicle and have it warm up while you’re sipping on your coffee and getting ready for work.

My husband did a lot of research for his remote starter, and after talking to the rep at Bestbuy, he picked this one. It has two way remote, to let him know it successfully started. It works pretty far too, he loves it.

I had this remote installed in my vehicle, and it is great. Especially now, with the cold weather. Nothing better than getting into a warm car. Also when summer arrives, a cool car. Best Buy auto techs did a great job. You wouldn’t even they were in your car. Very professional and explained the install and it operation. Great job !!!!

It works great this is my second vehicle i put on and love it

I bought this, well as other Viper products. My security system was disabled by a mechanic doing a repair on my car. They couldnt figure it out and i had also been looking at this product for a while. I had this, an upgraded remote, the GPS and 4G module, and upgraded security system installed. It is one of the best purchases ive ever made. Im. Ot always near my car when i want to start it or unlock it for a friend or family member. This product works great as a standalone, but it better with everything else. The only complaint I have is where the installer put the siren and the wire running to the siren. They ran the wire across the bar in my engine bay that needs to be removed when doing certain repairs.

Definitely the best one for the price. This is my 2nd Viper, and wont buy anything but the Vioer for now on. I bought a different one for my last car, and regretted it. Viper is the way to go, tilt switch to protect my rims or it being towed away. Glass protection, and you can adjust the sensitivity from the remote. Definitely imlressed.

Was a little leery of purchasing a remote start for our vehicle that wasn't originally installed by the car manufacturer. We were assured by the Best Buy technician that they were very knowledgeable about what each and every vehicle would need for this time of install. They showed us everything beforehand and even suggested we could check with our vehicle dealership about any questions we might have about having it installed. THe install went right on schedule and there were no issues with the system. It starts up the vehicle every morning without any issues and is a welcome change from getting into a cold car every morning. So far seems very reliable and have had no issues.

Fantastic remote starter! Key fob is plastic and broke quickly so i had to buy a better one aftermarket, bit starter itself never fails

I bought the remote starter for the cold morning start, hadn't used it for that yet. Though I appreciate the range for starting.

Let's be honest. A remote start device is not a necessity, it's a convenience. But once you've had one you won't want to be without it again. The Viper is simple, reliable and makes your car nicer to get into if the weather is hot or cold. My previous car had a remote and I had the Viper installed by a Best Buy tech in Little Rock in my new car. Marlon did a perfect job and I have zero complaints.

I connected my Nissan rogue to the device. First of all, there is no phone application as stated, sometimes it’s working sometimes it’s not…150 feet is not a reallly big distance. Overall, it’s working.

Works great! Family enjoys getting into a comfortable car and the long range transmitter is a huge bonus. Using the app has proven amazing as a parking locator as well!

Bought this product when it was on sale which included installation. The product works as designed. It’s great to heat up your car on a icy winter morning. A great security feature where the car will turn off after a set amount of time and it will not go into drive without a key. Did not test the range limit however it’s enough if you’re parked just right outside of your house.
