Bought it for my daughter for Christmas. Geek squad installed it and it works great. One button push makes it so easy to start. Viper also has an app for starting with your phone up to 150 feet. Needless to say my kid loves it . Definitely would buy Viper again maybe for myself next.

My remote start works from 4 city blocks away! It’s a great feeling never feeling the morning cold in a car anymore. I couldn’t be happier with the Best Buy installation, I only wish scheduling was a little more open and flexible, sometimes it’s completely closed.

I LOVE IT. It is working great!! Good feeling to get into a warm vehicle in the cold morning.

The viper remote start is a must have. It works great and has a great range. I can start my Mazda CX-5 either by my car’s key fob or the remote that comes with the viper system. Love having a warmed car to get going in.

1994 volvo 940 sedan i wanted a remote start and security system for my old volvo and many sellers didn't have much to offer for my car. i went to best buy in warner robins, ga and they had the ds4 and gps addon system in stock and i had to setup a appointment to et it installed. once installed and going, i have been enjoying this professionally installed system and love the remote start and security features , especially having the ability to use my phone to control the features. no issues whatsoever and the only complaint i have was the basic small remote that came with the ds4. i opted for a upgraded viper remote ( 7857v } which is so much better and rechargeable and easier to use and operate. highly recommend it for older volvo owners

Viper's product is flawless, works every time. But when it shines is when you have the larger, two way fob. The small 1 button fob is short range and 1 way- you tell the system, it does it, or not, depending on the range. but the two way fob is twice the range. mine reaches from the checkout line inside Walmart far right side, to the parking space farthest left and all the way to edge of road. But the system then sends the 2 way fob signal when started, then monitors, and alerts you when you reach auto shutdown point.

I bought 2 the same day as Christmas gifts for my wife and my mom. They both LOVE using remote start. No more getting into a cold vehicle in winter...and, on occasion they'll even cool down the vehicle when it's over 100 degrees in the summer. Just remember to set the temperature and fan speed before you get out of your vehicle & turn it off.

Second car installed with this remote start and this was way better then the first. It only took them an hour compared to 6 hours on my last car. If you have a XV Crosstrek don’t go factory remote, go Best Buy.

The good: Work very good. I can start my car parked in the driveway from the bedroom in the back side of the house. The bad: I can't paired with my cell phone.

**A Disappointing Encounter with Remote Starter Purchase for My 2013 Scion tC** I recently embarked on what I thought would be a straightforward mission—purchasing a remote starter for my 2013 Scion tC. Little did I know, this experience would turn into a nightmare. From the moment I walked into the store, the customer service was lackluster at best. I had to wait an excruciatingly long time just to get someone's attention. When I finally did, the sales representative seemed disinterested and unknowledgeable about the product I wanted. After finally settling on a remote starter, the installation process was even worse. The technician informed me that the Viper brand I initially chose didn't include the app it advertised on the box. Frustrated, I switched to the Compustar system, believing that the app would work seamlessly once installed. However, upon attempting to register the product, I was told I needed another device installed. This meant yet another trip back to the shop, along with additional fees that they aren't responsible for. This experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I expected better service and quality for such a significant purchase. I would strongly advise others to do thorough research and consider alternative providers before committing to Best Buy.

This is s very particular product that has to be professionally installed. When purchasing make sure you get the correct t harness for your particular vehicle. There might be the car where you might need multiple keys, or even to sacrifice s key for the install so bring all keys you have so you don't have to go home to get them. Very happy I don't have to walk outside anymore.

Works well easy to use good products for the price

I bought this viper remote starter about 2 years ago and no complaint whatsoever besides me misplacing the remote not on them so I have no complaints it stills work without the remote using my unlock and lock button.

There were a few reason I chose this unit, price was among them but what really sold me was that I could use the factory remote, without a second fob, just hit the lock button three times. I don't understand why the OEM can't make something so simple.
