Works great starts every time . Great for winter and summer

It's so nice having the remote start especially this winter. The remote works perfectly and the installation process went smoothly. Well worth the money!

I helped a friend with the finances, she seems happy with it, I have not experienced it.

Bought this for my Subaru and it has been worth every cent. Took a few tries but I finally have it figured out. I don’t have to be near the car for remote to work, I just click and be thankful I can get into a hot car when it’s single digits outside. You don’t get to use the app features unless you pay a subscription which I don’t need it anyway. Never read it on the box that a subscription is required but whatever, works great. Tech was great, very helpful and got it done much quicker than expected.

Works good. Keeps about a two week charge before it dies. Wished it was battery operated instead of usb. Good range for starting.

Great! Should of gotten sooner! The distance on the remote is superb- definitely would get again if i have a vehicle without factory remote start.

The Best Buy staff installed this on a 2017 Escape, and it seems to work well. The instructions were a little unclear on first use, but got over that issue. Only small issue, is that it only came with 1 remote. They had to program the Ford Key to use the lock button as a remote starter as well.

I love that I have remote start now and I can always see where the car is.

Was not compatible with my car. I started having issues with my car where my key stopped connecting to my car and wouldn’t start. Mind that is is negative weather out with 2 babies in the car. Brought it back to Best Buy and they made me go to the dealership to see if there was an issue with my car or if it truly was the remote starter that was the issue. They said they would reimburse me for it if so. Went to the dealership they charged me a few hundred and told me it was the remote starter. Went back to Best Buy and they removed my car starter and surely it was the issue. They refused to reimburse me not only for my dealership visit that they told me to go to and would reimburse but also didn’t even refund me for the remote starter installation which was also several hundred. They were extremely knowledgeable when I told them I had a light on my dashboard that finally disappeared and solved once they removed the remote starter, the girl there said oh yeah that light means your key is connected…. (It literally was the light showing the key wasn’t connecting). She was rude about the whole thing didn’t get to speak to a manager it was just this girl this ran the front desk. They left part of the remote starter on my key so I also had to drive all the way back to return it. Just so inconvenient and the worst experience ever. They tried to give me $50 store credit to make up for the hundreds that I had to spend all for me to not have a remote starter in the end.

I purchased a viper remote start and I am very happy with the work they did installing in my car.

Really happy with Viper Remote Car starter! Distance start from inside of building I work at is phenomenal. I was thinking I’d have to be near a door to start my car, but not necessary. Same with at home. Install went smoothly. Price $200 dollars less than what dealership was charging.

This product works exactly as expected. Easy to use. Small remote that doesn’t bog down your pocket or key chain. And the sensor works an impressive distance away. Best Buy / Geek squad install team was efficient, kind, and extremely thorough. Would absolutely return to them for future vehicles if needed.

I love my new electric car starter. My car sits outside at my apartment. I can start it from inside my apartment so I don't have to go out on those freezing cold days until my car is warm

Works pretty well so far, has good range when it works, but sometimes the Viper remote doesn't start the car and I have to use the lock button on my key fob instead. All in all it is fine for the price, but 2 way communication would be a great upgrade so you could tell whether or not the car was running.

Will be given as a Christmas present. Sale and installation departments where very knowledgeable

Bummer that this only comes with one fob. Had some issues after the initial installation, which caused the lights to stay on and the battery to die, but we worked it out with the technician at Geek Squad/Best Buy. Thanks!

This remote comes in handy best purchase I ever made.now I don’t have to walk all the way to my car an warm it up. Comes in clutch:)

No complaints yet. I did upgrade to the better remote that has a longer range and its surprising how far it will reach. It says up to a mile which I'm sure I won't get but a coworker who put in this same unit can start his car at his desk from 3 blocks away in a downtown setting. Best Buy install was fantastic. The different features you can add to also turn on (AC/Heater, heated seats, etc) vary by car. I have a 2011 Accord and not much extra could be added. The install tech did program my Honda remote to also start the car which I didn't know it could do.

This was my second Remote Car Starter purchase from Best Buy. Both as gifts for my daughters. I appreciate the all in one pricing for the unit and for the installation. Very simple and straightforward.
