And Beyond satisfied with this remote starter. Everything has been working great with it since I got installed. I've had no issues in the installation was very professional. The gentleman who installed this was very knowledgeable. He educated me on my system after installation very thoroughly. I would recommend this to anybody that is buying a remote starter for the first time for their vehicle.

Great product works like a charm. Installation tech was great as well. Took my car in earlier and was done before the said amount of time. I am able to start my car from the third floor with the original fob. If you want unlimited distance without extra installation, i reccomend getting the DSM550 ($90) on amazon but you will need the subscription which honestly is not a bad price

It does it's job but the worker at the installation center didn't take a picture of the identification numbers on the device so I can hook it up to my phone. So now i have to unlock the car with the key instead of the fob.

I love my Viper Remote Start. I actually bought two, one for my truck (2005 F150 Super Crew Cab) and the other for my son's car (2004 Honda Civic) for Christmas. I got mine before Christmas and it is awesome. I work first shift and I am loving not having to go outside to crank my truck up on these cold mornings. The remote works great as far as starting the truck up. I just have to remember to set my heat and fan switches on the right settings the night before. The "Geek Squad" guys were great. I couldn't even tell that they had even been in my truck at all. They explained how to use the remote very well and answered all of my questions. I am very happy with my Viper and my son loves his too. Last, but definitely not least, the cost. I got both remote starts on sale, including the installation for $425 (An AWESOME deal)!!!!

Remote start worked exactly as advertised. Comes with a single remote but the the Best Buy tech was able to program the car manufacturer's remote to work with the device. The VIPER remote start has great range and could be started at a distance even while in the house. Great product.

I have had this for 2 winters now. I have had absolutely no problem with it. The range is good, I love it! The key fob sucks a little bit, but you can upgrade it if you want. I don’t feel the need too.

Having the device installed this week and can’t wait! Living in VT where morning temps are often near or below zero…this has been a long time coming! Looking forward to starting the day off by getting into a warm car!

item came with a one way remote starter. i purchased a two way because I didn't want to have to walk out to see if the car actually started. one way remote also programmed as a back up. love the viper products. had to wait several weeks for installation appointment but worth it.

I have not used the remote start much since I had it installed. The installation went very well. The installer was very polite and informative. He was done installing the remote starter when he said he would. He went over operating procedures and cleaned up after himself. I had this installed in my 2019 Chrysler 300, as it did not have one from the factory! Weird, I know! This was the first time I used Best Buy installation and would recommend the Wyomissing store. I will follow up if necessary after using it this winter!

Purchased this kit for my 2017 Elantra back in August, and now that it's January I had some time to use it. Here are my thoughts. It's a good starter but could be better. I think there's an upgrade, if you want to look into it. The distance to activate the vehicle is a hit or miss. Plus, at least with this kit, it's a one way system. Meaning you can't tell whether or not you successfully remote started without some sort of indication. I have auto headlights so that tells me whether my car is on or not.

I enjoy using this, especially in the winter when I can warm up my car without having to go outside. Just make sure you set your desired temperature before turning off the vehicle during the last trip. Also, a helpful hint is to purchase the upgrade version of the remote.

Well, there is not much to say about this system as there are not too many bells and whistles :) It does what it is supposed to do that is starts the car remotely :) I bought it during the Black Friday sale (along with GeekSquad installation) and I think it's totally worth the money (specially in the east coast winters). It also comes with an app which can be used to start the car using bluetooth but because of the limitations of the bluetooth range, it is not as useful as the standard remote that it comes with. I have been able to remote start my car using the remote from inside of the gym while my car was parked on the other end of the parking lot (which I think is a pretty good distance). So, overall I like this system and will recommend to friends.

My first remote start system! This really helped keep me motivated to hit the gym on the cold winter mornings. It's so nice to get into a warm car while the temps around are below zero lol. It's always fired right up whenever I've needed it to and the range is pretty good, would totally recommend!

The car starts great with the car starter. The flashing blue light seems like a deterrent indicating extra security. The installation part was quite the nightmare, taking over 4 hours when told a half hour. Was stuck in a waiting room without communication.

It has pretty good range when it comes to starting car from a distance. I like that it turns off if you try and switch gears after you start with the remote .I wish I knew more about the app and if this model can be used with it. Otherwise I was no complaints.

great remote start. wish we hadn't waited so long to get it. really nice to get into either a warm or cooled car depending on the weather. works a good ways away. fob goes thru batteries kind of quick
