The system works great. It has a visual status showing if you car is locked or unlocked and a countdown timer for the remote start. Also has a backlit screen with multiple color options if desired.

I wanted something without the alarm and with longer range. The one with alarm leads to many problems as I have that for my other cars. This was I can use the factory remote if I feel like it or when the battery ever runs out.
