I love this alarm so much. It makes me feel much safer and Best Buy is the best. Such a great deal with installation included. The installer was awesome in every way and explained things so well .

Viper is a well known brand for car security system. We also purchased a window shock detector device along with this set for installation. The installation only takes an hour and half. And it doesn't interfere with my existing sound system. Steve-O is very patient and professional.

Great fit for any vehicle. Comes with instructions. Preferably ask for assistance in the setting up .

alarm systems do way more than just go off when your doors are tampered with. Today's alarms disable fuel systems and ignitions as well as control door locks and lights. If anything comes loose while driving it could be a disaster. If I had known it could leave me stranded I may have decided against it. But with multiple break-ins I didnt do much research. Best Buy went out of their way to make sure I was happy and safe in the end.

Works well. I can lock or unlock the car silently if I want to, which is a great feature. The fob is a little different than what is pictured for the product - and I actually like it more. But you could always check with the store before buying in case you might not like it. The install process was great and the crew was really nice.

Best Buy Installation guys did a very good job.!!!

I had trouble once when I unlocked the car and the front doors would not unlock and it took me a couple of minutes to get the car to unlock the front doors. Other then that I have had no problem

This car alarm is simple to use and has a great warranty. It was installed in less than a day and keeps my car very secure.

This is worth the money and having Best Buy install it was worth it. Keeps my car protected and sounds with just touching it hard enough.

It doesn't seem to work from the distance it advertises but all in all its just fine.

I picked this alarm for the price and what it can do. I like that it can integrate into my vehicles harness. The remote is light not heavy like some others. I feel better having it.

Great alarm system.!!! This is our third vehicle that were getting a Viper system installed, the first one was 9 years ago and it still performs as it did on day one.!!!

I am very pleased with my decision to add power locks to my little used truck. Best Buy reps did a great job in selection and installation.

After only a year the alarm malfunctioned. It wouldn’t turn off and I couldn’t turn on the car. Every electrical component dead. It ended up costing me a trip to the dealership to get it removed. Not including the tow truck there. A waste of time and money. If you do end up getting it, get it installed somewhere else.

Product not the problem. Bad installation and customer service was. First installer gives me the car back and the blinking blue light that signifies the alarm is on never goes off. So night driving was like a 70s disco party unless you have siezures. In addition to the incorrect install, literally the only information given to me about the system is "these are the only 2 button that work, unlock or press lock 2 times to arm"... this was incorrect, but more importantly an entire alarm/keyless entry system was installed and NOBODY went over the installation options or preferences. 2nd installer, after accusing me of being the reason the light wouldnt turn off, fixes the issue.. which turned out to be that the ignition wire was not included in the first job.. so now, light turns off when it should, but my car automarically locks and unlocks every time i start the car. As a sales supervisor for a fortune 100 company, i can guarantee you that NOBODY that worked for me would be installing something with over 30 installation configurations, AND NEVER ASKING THE CUSTOMER WHAT THEIR PREFERENCE IS.. bad install, poorly ran operation. Never again.
