    I do wish they didn’t cost so much, but for making our morning smoothies nothing else compares. Even large chunks of fruit get ripped apart in no time. I think the extra settings are nice, but not at all necessary to make anything you want. had other lower cost units and just not worth it for us. We use it everyday! We have one in our house overseas and now one here.

    I love my Vitamix products very much - it works very well (as it is expected to do so), but this blender jar failed within 3 months - I got a replacement for it, anyways. That's what I like about Vitamix products - a 10-year warranty.
