I bought this blender for my wife and it's the best blender out there right now. Kinda expensive but we love it. It's easy to use.

We use this blender for smoothies and baking. The motor could be used for a small lawnmower. It is powerful and durable, but quiet it's not. Our family loves it.

I purchased the Ascent 2500 to primarily blend smoothies over the Blendtec or other brands due to the many rave reviews regarding, not only the brand, but the specific model. I purchased it new from BestBuy, in black, and took it home. When I was using it, it sounded pretty loud, which I expected, it being a 2.2hp motor. However, over the course of a 3-5 days (using it everyday) a slight grinding (?) noise started to come from the machine. Then on the last day I used it, before exchanging it, to make a smoothie with the preset, the motor shut off for maybe a quarter second then turn back on at the previous speed. After consuming the smoothie and attempting to wash the container with water filled halfway and a little dish soap, the same thing occurred. I called Vitamix and the rep explained that should not happen. That very day I went back to BestBuy and exchanged it for the Pro 750 which, while loud, has a smoother sound to the motor and no faults almost a week later. I am also a bigger fan of the more sturdy build (less plastic).

I have only had the opportunity to use the blender a couple of times but so far it has operated flawlessly and as advertised, VERY easy to clean and operate. Only downsides are price (offset by using the 6 month financing deal through Best Buy) and the size. It does not fit under our overhead cabinets and does take up a good deal of counter space.

My wife has wanted a vitamix forever but was unsatisfied with the ones where you cannot remove the blades to clean, just personal preference. With this one you can and we are now blending up a storm and are not looking back. very happy with purchase

I went to bestbuy to purchase the A2300 model originally but they only had the A2500 in stock and they only had 1 left. I decided to pay the extra 100$ or so dollars because I waited til the last minute to buy the mother's/bday gift. I'm glad I bought, not regretting it as much as I thought. Works like they claim it does. And the 10 year warranty is so good bestbuy doesnt ask if you want geeksquad protection.

This is my third Vitamix blender. I was torn over which model to buy and when I decided of the Ascent, I was torn again on which model. I chose the 2500 because I didn't need a lot of preprogrammed settings, and it has only three - one for smoothies, one for soups, and one for frozen deserts...plus they shut off when they are done. I won't buy any other brand in a blender. So far, very nice.

I use it daily! I make smoothies with vegetables, fruits that I would not ordinarily eat daily. I have lowered my sugar and cholesterol. Blender is strong and can blend just about anything. The blender container does start to appear cloudy after a couple of uses, my only gripe.

I have wanted a Vitamix for years and finally invested in one. Does a great job. I do wish Vitamix offered different size options for the pitcher on initial purchase.

Life saver! I have a autistic son who has oral issues which he can only have purée. I tried many other brands and they all break in less than a week of daily use. This can handle daily use for very longtime. I have mine for a longtime now and I don’t regret buying it. If someday it breaks I will buy another one because it’s the only reliable blender in the market.
