This isn’t your typical blender. This device is a tour de force. It’s impressive 64 oz container is generous enough to allow for at least two huge smoothie servings at a time. We love the self cleaning feature. Just add one or two drops of liquid dish soap, half of water and in one minute your rinsing the container and placing it on the dry rack. I had been meaning to get back to a healthier diet by avoiding process foods as much as possible prior to quarantine. So when this opportunity came around to reboot, I was happy to get my hands on this newer model and bring to life some new smoothie creations. Enter the Vitamix Ascent which introduces us to a digital LCD screen, Bluetooth connectivity with many additional blending settings thru Vitamix’s app, and also a fancy hard cover cookbook for those wanting creative ideas to begin their blending journey. I began my Vitamix experience by taking a trip to the grocery store for some items. BerryNutty antioxidant smoothie -made with seeds no nuts 2 cups fresh power leafy green mix, 3 cups antioxidant frozen fruit berries mix, 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds, 4 tbls chia seeds, 1 cup mango juice, 1/2 cup heavy cream. This smoothie is loaded with generous amounts of plant base protein, fiber, and antioxidants. The mango juice serves as a sugar base liquid that will compliment the berries. The pumpkin seed gives the smoothie a satisfying balanced semi nutty taste. What impressed me about the Vitamix Ascent, is how finely blended the raw chia seeds turned out. Smooth and silky, NO GRIT! This is why this blender is worth it! Sorry got exited! I began tinkering with the food processor attachment unit. This is sold separately. The food processor comes with a package of two additional discs. Each of those additional blades have a two fold function, you simply turn them over for (thin slice/ small shred) or (thick slice/large shred). I did not discover any additional settings on the app when I placed the food processor on the base, I believe it’s only for the blending unit container. For those taking their blending experience to the next level and want to get things done faster. We used the multi use blade to grind crackers down to a soft crumb for pie crusts. Happy that it has a manual setting button cause sometimes you want to have that control for more chunky homemade salsas. Easy to store away. The possibilities are endless. Pluses: 1. Large 64 oz Container 2. It’s 4 settings on display pad (and 17 additional settings with Bluetooth) 3. It’s powerful and NOT absurdly loud like the Nina Duo 4. One base - two functions blender and food processor Minuses: 1. The apps “Pantry” feature is a great idea, however it is limited by what Vitamix inputs in its platform. (please add cocoa protein powder) I would suggest a photo capture feature where you can take a picture of the nutritional facts of any for faster customizable upload. The Vitamix Ascent is my new muse. Makes me want to breakout in song, “Nothing compares to you”.

Buying a Vitamix has been part of my life bucket list to do and I finally did it. I can die now and feel really good doing it with all the awesome smoothies I've been making with this beast of a blender! Chia seeds get pulverized, not giving them a chance to sprout in-between your gums to make a chia pet or anything. No regrets on dropping 6 Ben's and be short on rent to get this awesome blender. Now to figure out where to connect it once my eviction starts.

Definitely a work horse. Works better than reviewed and advertised. Will handle everything you can throw at it. Whether you are making frozen drinks and smoothies to making piping hot soup it's does great. A little more expensive than many blenders but in this case for sure it is definitely work it!

I love this blender! The Vitamix- Ascent 3500 makes delicious smoothies and does any blending task with ease. The presets make it even easier to use. It is loud--especially when blending frozen berries or ice, but completes the task with ease. It also has an optional food processor attachment available which I have purchased and it works great. Awesome machine!

I bought this blender for my wife for Christmas. We use a blender at least once a day and needed an upgrade. She loves this one. Compared to our older smaller blender, it blends much more smoothly and consistently, has easy self-cleaning, and has a really nice touch-screen. I suppose the only downside is it takes up a fair amount of counter space, so I recommend others just review the sizing specs and make sure it will fit well (including underneath cabinets - which thankfully ours does but I did measure before purchasing this.)

I have been using the A3500 for about 8 months now. Works great, easy to clean, plenty of power. I use it daily for smoothies, grating cheeses, soups and making nut butters. Super easy to use and very dependable. May be on the pricey side if you are just using it occasionally. HIghly recommended.

I have owned multiple blenders over the years. Always having to replace them after something broke. Whether it was the motor, blender carafe, blade, buttons, something always broke. I had enough and wanted a blender that was durable and versatile. I splurged and bought this a year ago. I held off writing a review as I wanted to see how it held up. I am happy to say that this is the best blender I ever had, and for many reasons. Too many to list here. This will last me for the rest of my life. I am 60. It has a LONG 10 year replacement warranty. The parts and accessories are built to last. The motor is as strong as an Ox. The blades are HEAVY DUTY. Over all construction is terrific. It is simply built to outperform and outlast any blender I have ever seen. It does things I didn't know you could do with a blender. At least my past ones couldn't do these things. Like making your own Peanut Butter. Smoothies that are the smoothest you will ever taste. Crush ice with ease, and even make and cook soups in minutes with no mess. Yes cook soups. And it even has the most awesome self cleaning function that really works every time. I could go on and on, but this is the best. Get one, you will not regret it. 5 stars and beyond from me.

Outstanding product. Easy to clean. Works great for post workout smoothies and meal replacements. Def. Worth it to pay the extra buck for superior quality. If i had to go back i would pay the extra money for a vitamix or Blenddec that has the function to be more quiet .. important if you want to make smoothies late at night or early am and not wake anyone up.

A bit loud, but powerful and blends items very well. We have made several different smoothies and peach ice cream in the short time we have had it. Each time we have been very pleased with the outcome. It does cost a pretty penny.

Well built solid construction. Easy to use controls. Able to blend frozen ice cream with no problem. Quiet operation on speed levels 1-5, but much louder on speed levels 6-10.

This blender is works great for Smoothies, soups milkshakes. The self cleaning features is super convenient

The Vitamix a3500. has 5 programs settings Smoothies, Hot Soups, Dips & Spreads, Frozen Desserts, and Self-Cleaning. After you select the function and started the process automatically adjust the velocity, and stop the blender when complete it. The Smoothies are the best I had made with all the ingredients, including the ice cubes smooth and delectable. The self-cleaning is a plus to easy use the blender for another item.

My daughter has a Vitamix 750 and we liked some of the smoothies she fixed when we were visiting her. We decided to get a Vitamix and chose the Ascent 3500 because of the visual display and ability to set the timer, as well as its ability to connect to the Vitamix Perfect scale, which we also purchased. We have made a lot of smoothies and even some soup. It has worked extremely well. Its powerful, easy to use and easy to clean. Highly recommended.

I use my blender every day. I didn't think there could be a big difference in blenders. I was wrong. I had the top of the line Breville that I wasn't really happy with. The design was not at all easy to keep clean and the finish started bubbling and peeling within a couple of months, but it turned on so I kept using it. The Vitamix is better in every way. It looks better, blends better and is sooo easy to clean. I will never use another blender.

After a lot of research I finally decided on purchasing this model Vitamix Blender. Very powerful and user friendly preset functions. Money well spent on a quality product!

This is my third Vitamix and by far the best yet! I love that the container has not stained and the easy to clean and maintain exterior. It has a great asthstetic and I enjoy and use the pre progamed options a lot. I also like and find the shorter container easier to store on my counter. I do wish however they made a medium size container as you don't always want to blend a huge amount. I know they have the cup attatchment but they seem like they would be just to small really. I highly recommend this machine! If you are considering this machine you should buy it. Vitamix has great quality machines and last forever. The other two I have still work great and one is almost 30 yrs old! I just gave them to my family members so I could get a new one.

I know this is a super expensive purchase, but the product is simply amazing and is extremely nice quality. I'm hoping this blender lasts 20 years, and the impression I have is it's extremely well-made. Certainly the most powerful blender I've ever used and it makes everything so smooth. Nice to have access to so many attachments.

I was making myself crazy trying to decide which color to get so I ordered the Black Stainless from Best Buy and went to pick it up. This blender is not only an incredible machine, but it is absolutely gorgeous. The black stainless in particular is very very nice looking. I was afraid that it wouldn't go well with my brushed stainless and black kitchen appliances, because many people had described this color as being goldish in tone. However, I have this blender right next to another appliance and it blends beautifully. I am so very happy with the look and performance of this machine. Excellent in every way. And very easy to use.

My husband and I have decided to eat healthy and we now do smoothies at least 1 x a day. This is the best blender. It is so easy to use. It is so good that my husband loves to make smoothies now. It is also easy to clean. Great quality and worth the price. It is a great addition to my kitchen appliances.
