I purchase this Vitamix because I watch reviews of youtube and they stated its one of the best. So I decided to buy it. Yes its great. It blends my smoothies great. I used to blend my smoothies everyday. So it's absolutely worth the price. Before I had a nutribulet and the Nutribullet does not have the powder of the Vitamix. This one is the smallest version but it does the job and its person for 1 person.

Now That I've bought a Vitamix I know I've never had a blender. But besides, this isn't just a blender. That's what you have to tell yourself to actually spend the money on one of these things. Want a smoothie? you can make it with whatever you want because the Vitamix works so incredibly well at blending everything flawlessly. No chunks, no pulp, no fuss! Smooth and creamy and delicious no matter what we throw in there! I use it every day for my green smoothies and protein shakes. This thing has taken a lot of abuse and gets a pretty intense daily work out of frozen fruits and ice cubes etc. and it still works like it did when we bought it FIVE YEARS AGO. We haven't had to replace parts or have any maintenance done. Just regular cleaning and care. Boom. This is so much more than a blender, it's a way of life.

Excellent blender/ice crusher. I had an old vitamix I bought in either 1999 or 2000. I make a smoothie with frozen berries or pineapple every day, so I have confidence in this brand. This new one seems to have a little more power because it blends the frozen stuff a little faster. Very impressed so far!

I bought the Vitamix because I was making nondairy milks and cheeses, mostly from nuts, and the old blender wasn't up to the job. The Vitamix is efficient at reducing soaked nuts to a milky cream. My only gripe is that I'd prefer a removable blade - especially with a thick emulsion, too much is lost under the blade.

Best blender I’ve owned. Worth the purchase as it blends smoothies so super smooth and is easy to clean. I never wanted to spend so much Monty on a blender. But after years of buying cheaper ones that are really poor quality and “disposable”...we finally tried vitamix and will never get another brand.

For those asking themselves, "Is it really worth spending that much on a blender and how much of a difference can there be between this blender and my $100 or less blender?" Yes, it is worth spending that much on this blender and there is a HUGE difference in power and performance when comparing this blender to other, cheaper blenders.

I always wanted a Vitamix so I went and bought one and it has not disappointed me I love it . Right now I have only made smoothies with it but there smooth very very happy fits under my cabinets to I would say it’s worth the purchase in my opinion.

Great blender would be nice if container was biger

This thing works great! It blends full fruits and vegetables so easily and there are no clumps. Highly recommend.

This is one monster blender. I did not want the bigger sized one but yet have some of the qualities that all Vitamix blenders represent, e.g. a powerful motor, METAL PARTS (not plastic like most competitors); American-made AND built ! Around since 1920’s. All blenders can bog down, so they include a nice wide plastic “tamper” that only drops down thru the top just short and safe of the blades...love it ! Some think it is noisy- I disagree. Unless you completely crank it to almost max, the sound is reasonable. It does move some so try and put it on some kind of pad, to prevent movement across counter ! Unlike some blenders that are built skimpy, this baby should last and last and last ! Good purchase. This blender is a monster! I held off for years buying lower priced blenders and they never really made me happy. The Vitamix makes smoothies like the smoothie shop! And cleaning, Oh man so easy few drops of dish soap blend on high and wah la clean!

I tried hard not to spend hundreds of dollars in a blender. But the buzz is correct: vitamix is the best. It blends better than the other brands, period. I tried a $70 Oster and had chunks of ice in my smoothies; now with the vitamix I don’t The reason I’m not giving it the 5th star is that the carafe is plastic. Please vitamix - use glass. Btw - I’m not sure what the more expensive models could have that this one doesn’t (other than a larger carafe). This has 10 blending speeds and seems able to do lost anything.
