I have never owned a true blender until the Vitamix. I've been living like a caveman with an inexpensive immersion blender. The immersion blender is OK for mixing protein shakes or milkshakes. I was looking for something with a bit more power but I didn't want to settle for just any blender. I always wanted a Vitamix but I could not convince myself that I really needed one. Recently I purchased some large appliances at Best Buy so I earned quite a few rewards dollars. I didn't need a TV or any more large appliances, so I decided to treat myself to the Vitamix. After using an immersion blender for years, this is a game changer. It pulverizes everything and makes a very "smooth" smoothie. I can't wait to try some other recipes for salsa, hummus, and desserts. I love that it is dishwasher safe or easy to clean without the dishwasher. All of the parts feel very high quality.

We use the blender daily for perfect smoothies. We’ve also made hummus and flour. It gets stuck when there’s too little in the machine but otherwise it’s awesome and does everything I need it to do. Easy to clean with a brush or with soapy water on blend. Love it!!

Overall this is a good blender with a few drawbacks I wasn't expecting for the price. First the positives, it makes awesome smoothies and I was even able to make hot soups as well. I havent had any issues crushing dry ingredients either. Unfortunately the base sometimes will vibrate and move during blending. For this reason, I am unable to set it and forget it while doing linger blending sessions. Also, the blender container doesn't stay snug on the base. It shifts to the side everytime you blend. Not a deal breaker, but would have expected more for the price. Another thing to note: this is a smaller capacity blender. Great for 2 people, but if you are making smoothies for 3 or more, it may be a little small. Overall I am very happy with the blender, but if you buy it, make sure you understand the limitations. Watch for it to go on sale!

This was not as expensive as the other model but does the job I need for smoothies. It's very powerful and not as loud as my Ninja. I like that it's compatible with the individual cup size adapter. I haven't used it for other things that it could do but I'm sure it will do the job.

It is exactly what I wanted. The smoothies are so easy to make and they are so smooth. I haven't tried anything else yet, but am looking forward to trying other recipes. It fits nicely under my upper cabinets and is not nearly as noisy as my old blender.

I’ve been thinking about getting a Vitamix for a few years now. I bought the nutribullet and ninja a couple of years ago because I didn’t think spending almost $400 on a blender was worth it. I hated the consistency of my green smoothies when I used the other blenders so I finally decided to buy the Vitamix. I wish I hadn’t waited so long and wasted money on the other blenders. I love my Vitamix!!! It blends kale and spinach in my smoothies so well it’s like I bought my smoothies at Boca or playa or frutta bowls. If you are thinking about getting a Vitamix, go ahead and try it....you won’t regret it!!!

I am incredibly satisfied with this blender. It is well-built, quiet while in operation, and there is never an issue when it comes to turning it on.

Great blender and easy to clean. Will save for the future for the one that makes soups hot. I thought this one did that but it doesn’t but it still works great.

I bought this for my wife to replace her ninja. She complained about using the ninja until it broke down on her...lol. Once it broke down, I was put on a mission to get a better blender. My wife uses the blender mostly for smoothies. There were so many positive reviews and this was on sale when I purchased. This thing is more quiet than the ninja for sure. It does what she needs and she is happy...I'm happy.

I’m impressed by the blending power of this vitamix. It is very easy to use. The dial and switches are very straightforward. I’ve blended multiple fruits, vegetables, and nuts on this blender— it always comes out to be great consistency. The only complain that I have is it is too loud. Other than that, this is a great blender to have.

I finally broke down and purchased a vita mix. And let me tell you I don’t regret it not one bit. I make green smoothies every morning and it liquefies those vegetables and fruits so perfectly. There is no chewing they are no lumps and bumps. It is a nice drink. I regret I’ve waited so long and tried the less expensive brand such as the ninja they just don’t hold up to what the vita mix can do. I absolutely recommend my vita mix. I’ve only used it this far for smoothies, but I can’t wait to venture out and see what else we can do.

Powerful machine. Smaller pitcher than other models but it packs a punch! Have mostly made green juices and smoothies but it pulverized all ingredients including fruit with skin like apples! Highly recommend

This thing can blend anything, quickly, and into a smooth liquid. It has been working great for close to 8 months. I use it 2-3 days a week to make smoothies, and meal prep, and baking. Easy cleanup.

Well, it is Vitamix expander. I previously owned a ninja blunder which to do a good job. However, This is my first Vitamix blender. And it's just like night and day compared to a Ninja blender. And by the way, the ninja Blender that I had still works, but my ex-wife got that. This vitamix vendor comes with a 5 year warranty. So it's well worth the extra money and the guarantee. That you've got five years with no issues whatsoever. It blends great!

I tried couple blenders before but this is top of the line. Quality product and very easy to clean.

My wife convinced me to buy this blender instead of a Wii.. Though this blender costs more than a typical one, you can get some kicks out of blending ANYTHING .. Not like i need a commercial blender but it's pretty awesome to see things pulverize.

I previously had a ninja blender which made too much noise and I couldn't bear the noise any longer. This makes way less noise than the ninja and performs ten times better than the ninja. I would highly recommend it.
