After purchasing 4 new cables/adapters, and downloading the recommended app, still no way to project anything from my laptop. User guide is useless (says to mirror screen, install app.) Well, I did that, nothing happens. Customer service was not helpful.

The projector worked great for about fifty minutes during one of my classes, but shut down abruptly during the second class. I like the style, but performance didn't add up to the price!

I returned it the next day. The photo in itself was horrible and once getting to the instructions - well that was impossible and once located they were in Japanese!
Ugh..don't buy.

Unfortunately I paid a pretty penny for this item and the remote doesn’t even work. The associate was obviously just trying to make a sale.

Impossible to cast Windows 10 screen to the projector wirelessly. I had to connect to it by cable.

It seems to produce a good image, and the anti-keystoning was a good thing. But....
1) The remote was awful. For whatever reason, I found myself getting either no response...or two repsonses, many times.
2) I gave a presentation with it, and it took forever to just get the remote to put me into the app I was using; it was in some sort of mode at one point where nothing appeared to be highlighted, or the wrong thing was. Navigation is tricky and non-intuitive. And having to walk around behind the unit after pointing out things in the image got old very fast; the remote receiver is on the wrong side IMHO.
3) The app was to show photographs. Unfortunately...this app displays pictures in REVERSE order of the photo's metadata date stamp. Yes, most recent first. I didn't want to show it in that order, or even forward order, but rather a different order. Renaming the files (my camera writes the date into the picture's file name) in the hopes that it would alphebetize the files and show them in that order didn't work. No, I had to open the properties dialog for each file, change tabs and change the date...and set the fake dates up in reverse order! I can sort of understand using the metadata (though most users don't have any notion what that is and/or how to change it--filename would be better), but why, oh why does it display in REVERSE order?
Never wanting to have to open the properties dialog, then change tabs, then deal with the weird interface for the date (can't change the time of day!) on sixty files ever again, or deal with that balky remote, I returned the unit.
With a better remote and better software this could be a very good unit for the money. Without it, it was an exercise in minor frustration after minor frustration (reverse order by metadata date? Really?).

Should have heeded the warnings on the remote

I always do my research and found that this unit had really good reviews except for several that noted problems with the remote. I figured, how bad could it be, I am just using this to run powerpoint and I really don't need the remote. Well, you do need the remote because all of the menus and even the focus can only be controlled by the remote. Long story short, my remote did not work - at all! Went to the website and did all of the steps in the trouble shoot, including going out and buying a CR 2032 battery to make sure it wasn't something so simple. No dice. Now I will say this, I plugged it in and got an image on the screen that was more than acceptable, I was actually very pleased. Great brightness and I think this thing would be fine for a conference room or small classroom setting, but without being able to focus, it is really useless. So, it's back to the store. I will probably wind up having to go with a more expensive unit since there is no sense trying a replacement.

Looks like a cool projector & small size is amazing, but it is unusable without a remote and the remote didn't work right out of the box. Tried new battery in remote, still nothing. Will have to return/exchange. Hope to have better luck with a new one.

I bought this as a birthday present for my sister and when we turned it on for the first time there were lines on the screen and discoloration. I plan on taking it back tomorrow to exchange it for one that works correctly. I will be very upset if this is not replaced.
