Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the sound quality and powerful bass of the 2.1-Channel V-Series Home Theater Sound Bar. Many also found it easy to set up and appreciate its size and value for the price. While some users experienced challenges with volume control at lower levels and the remote control's functionality, the positive feedback on sound and ease of use outweighs these concerns.

We have a smaller living room, and this system is perfect for the size, and great value for the money. Makes movie watching an event, and smart casting music really impressive. The subwoofer is small and fits just fine in the back of the room. Really pleased. A standard soundbar mount with angle brackets to attach under the soundbar worked perfectly.

Excellent sound for the size! If you tv is capable, I highly suggest connecting via hdmi. The clarity is amazing. I have this in my bedroom. The subwoofer is compact enough where I was able to place behind my bed.

I am used to seperate AVR surround sound. Last year I needed to move from my home, after it was destroyed by a tornado... that being said this 2 channel soundbar is surprisingly good sounding and simple to use!

It sounds good but, the volume doesn’t go up far enough in my opinion. But what I really hate is the fact that when I’m trying to connect to a Bluetooth, it will change back to HDMI arc. I hate this.

I ordered direct from Best buy for Christmas and received half of a soundbar. It was packages, snapped in half and half was missing. The local store indicated I was lucky they were taking an exchange from me rather than taking it up with shipping, as if UPS busted the package, opened it, removed half and then repackaged and shipped the remaining part of the speaker. Then spoke with numerous customer service agents telling me my Christmas present was not going to be for Christmas, obviously. As of I was an idiot and didn't realize Christmas had passed. I was disregarded and treated like trash after spending over a grand with best buy for the holidays, and their response to my embarrassment at gifting this was I should be thankful they're exchanging it.

The VIZIO 2.1-Channel V-Series Home Theater Sound Bar with DTS Virtual:X and Wireless Subwoofer in black is a solid addition to your home audio setup. After extensive use, it's evident that this sound bar and subwoofer combination offers enhanced audio quality and convenience, although it comes with some considerations. Pros: 1. Audio Quality (4/5): The VIZIO V-Series Sound Bar delivers a noticeable improvement in audio quality compared to most built-in TV speakers. The inclusion of DTS Virtual:X technology creates a more immersive soundstage, making movies and TV shows more enjoyable. 2. Wireless Subwoofer (4/5): The wireless subwoofer is a valuable addition, providing deep and impactful bass to enhance the overall audio experience. Its wireless connectivity offers flexibility in subwoofer placement, allowing you to find the optimal position for optimal bass response. 3. Easy Setup (4/5): Setting up the sound bar and subwoofer is straightforward, and the included remote control simplifies the operation. The system can be up and running in a matter of minutes. 4. Connectivity Options (4/5): The sound bar offers various connectivity options, including Bluetooth, HDMI ARC, and optical input, providing versatility in connecting to different devices, such as TVs, streaming devices, and smartphones. 5. Affordable (4/5): The V-Series sound bar and subwoofer combination offer a solid audio upgrade at an affordable price point, making it accessible to a wide range of consumers. Cons: 1. Audio Fidelity (3/5): While the sound bar and subwoofer provide a noticeable improvement over TV speakers, audiophiles may find the audio quality lacking in comparison to higher-end sound systems. The sound can sometimes lack nuance and precision. 2. Limited Sound Customization (3/5): The sound bar offers some basic audio presets but lacks advanced equalization options for fine-tuning the sound to your preferences. 3. Size (4/5): The size of the sound bar may be a concern for those with limited space in their entertainment setup. It's wider than some competing models, which may affect its placement on smaller TV stands. 4. Remote (3/5): While the included remote control is functional, some users may prefer a more premium and intuitive remote design. Conclusion: In conclusion, the VIZIO 2.1-Channel V-Series Home Theater Sound Bar with DTS Virtual:X and Wireless Subwoofer offers an affordable audio enhancement for your home theater. Its improved audio quality and wireless subwoofer provide a noticeable boost to your TV's sound output. While it may not satisfy audiophiles or those seeking extensive sound customization, it offers a balanced package for the average consumer. If you're looking to elevate your TV's audio without breaking the bank, this VIZIO sound bar and subwoofer combination is a worthy choice. It strikes a good balance between performance and affordability, making your home entertainment experience more immersive and enjoyable.

Overall am very pleased with the product. It sounds great, looks sleek, was setup and putting out great audio within 5 minutes of cutting open the box. Bluetooth connection is a breeze. Also, the volume capacity is just incredible, this thing puts out a LOT of noise when needed, and I love it. Only reason this isn’t getting 5-stars is that as an NYC resident, and previously just urban-ish resident, having this pretty nice sound system shipped in its original packaging where it’s clearly labeled what it is, as well as leaving the box and contents a little vulnerable because of the odd shape, caused it’s theft on my first shipping attempt. Thankfully Best Buy support was easy and generous to work with, but feel that this is a type of item that deserves some more discrete packaging. Would highly recommend as a fairly budget-friendly home theater system in a small-medium space.

i bought this soundbar for my out door covered patio i did not want to spend a lot of money because the patio is seasonal,i was very supprised at how good it sounded for being such a small sound bar, i am very happy with it,even music sounds real good, the sub does not rattle the floor like a big powerfull sub would but its plenty of bass,it will only get so loud but you dont need it to blast you away like a big sound system costing thousands of dollars, when my friends come over they cant believe how good it sounds for such a small soundbar.if it sounds this good outside it probabbly sounds great in a small room indoors.im very happy i bought this sound bar well worth the money and i know sound quality i have a small home theater set up in my home with large polk speakers and subs and a pioneer reciever that rocks but this soundbar will not let you down in a small area

After the sub going completely out of my last soundbar and not being able to buy a replacement sub, I decided to look at different soundbars. It was a LG SN6Y that cost around 300 bucks on sale. Well this new little sub and little soundbar blew that old sound bar away by a big stretch. It was really hard to believe at half the price. But it just sounds great, fills the room, nice bass, nice treble, nice size, and gets pretty loud. Easy to setup. Dolby Audio DTS:X TrueVolume Compact enough to fit without blocking the screen, with a tiny oled stand. The display wasn't as good as the LG to navigate different things, you have to look in the manual to see whats what. Shipping was same day with Bestbuy, very nice because I'm an impatient person. The reviews are correct, you cannot go wrong with this bad boy.

I have the Samsung Q60R so this is what I’m comparing to(bought vizio for a gift) I was surprised at how loud the vizio can get for the price point and although the subwoofer can sound puny when all the way up if you adjust it properly it sounds pretty good. Great for a small to medium sized room. The clarity is not as great as the soundbar I have but it’s no where near the same price point. I would recommend this sound bar to someone on a budget 100%

    My First Soundbar

I bought this sound bar because i have limited space and needed to fit the sound bar in the cabinet under the tv, so for that purpose i give it an A+ for Size and Quality. the Soundbar is just under 24 inches wide so it fits nicely where my components are stacked under the tv. It definitely sounds better than the internal TV speakers. the base it a little unbalanced at times it seems a bit too punchy but i usually don't notice it, but overall its is way better than my TV speakers. Setup was easy, read and followed the instructions and it all worked as it should. Before i bought this i was expecting this to compliment my existing TV speakers but apparently it doesn't work that way and i get to use one or the other. I did manage to do some fancy settings in my TV to use the optical out and internal speakers at the same time but then you have to control the two volumes independently with two different remotes and im not going to do that so i went back to the standard HDMI input. when plugged in via HDMI the volume control is transferred to your TV remote volume buttons, so your tv is controlling the soundbar or the other way around, and the volume up and down is a lot slower then the TV was. Im still getting used to that. Sounds decent and doesn't make a funky sounds or rattles. Would i buy it again? Yes, unless i found something better that fit my needs and size limitations.

I bought this at the suggestion from the Best Buy associate who also sold me my Samsung Q70A. I needed a small soundbar that would fit the TV stand in my bedroom and this fit the bill perfectly. Set up was very easy with a HDMI cable attached to the TV and in under 10 minutes, I was ready to use my new soundbar. Compared to the TV speakers, the soundbar sounded amazing. There was good bass, voice clarity was very good and watching movies is much more immersive. It's been just over a month now and I'm very happy with this soundbar and it was at a very reasonable price too. I'll be getting another 4K TV for my living room soon and will be looking to get another Vizio, but a larger one and maybe a 3-1 or 5-1 set up.

Easy to install and the bluetooth was an unexpected plus! I can stream my favorite classical music station on my phone and hear it in my home. The station is FM and not where I can receive it on a standard radio. Sound is good, and the control makes it easy to switch from TV to bluetooth. I used an optical audio cable since the HDMI ports were crowded. I also needed something that would fit within a max of 27 inches wide, although depth was not an issue and the subwoofer sits behind the bar and the TV out of sight.

I purchased this unit to go with my high end gaming PC. It replaced my Bose speakers which no longer fit on my desk after I purchased a 49" Ultrawide monitor. The compact soundbar fit perfectly under the monitor. However, the best feature here is the sound! The subwoofer does an excellent job with the bass and my desk feels like it's shaking while I play first person shooters! Just fantastic! The remote is serviceable and allows access to the solid adjustment options. I also appreciate the audio notifications when you're scrolling through connection options. It definitely makes things easier. So I'm really happy with this purchase. The nice compact size, ease of use, the terrific sound and functionality makes this an easy recommend. Oh and the price provided great value as well.

Great product at a very reasonable price. This sound bar exceeds the sound quality of others twice it’s price. It’s a great addition to any TV and makes a dramatic difference in the sound quality and fullness of any TV. You may want a larger one for bigger screen tv’s but this soundbar produces more than enough quality sound for an average size room. We have it in our kitchen and a larger version with satellite wireless speakers in the bedroom. Simple setup and all cables are in the kit that comes with it. It has many options to tweak the sound to your individual liking. It’s a great product we are very pleased with it and would buy it again.

The stock speakers on my Sony TV blow chunks and I wanted something decent (and cheap) for those lighter days when I don't want to fire up the full home theater system. Honestly, I wasn't expecting too much from this Vizio set and was just hoping for a decent enough sound that had a little bottom/depth to it. I have to say though, I am more than pleasantly surprised with the sound quality of this little system. I mean first, lets be real. It's only a 4.5" sub and a 24" bar with just two small drivers so it's not going to thump pictures off of the walls, but it does provide a nice full sound with solid depth and great clarity, and it gets plenty loud without distortion or bottoming out. This thing actually sounds pretty good and is very versatile. I especially like the four preset EQ settings: Movie/Music/Game/Dialogue as well as the volume leveling setting. It also has a virtual mode for more of a spatial surround sound effect but I don't really use that. There is also a night mode that turns off the subwoofer. Probably the only real negative to me is that there is no frequency adjustment for the subwoofer crossover point, but there is an adjustable subwoofer level. You can also independently adjust the bass and treble. The system actually sounds pretty solid and with the right source, there is a more than an adequate amount of bottom end and clarity for it's size. I currently have mine hooked up to the 3.5mm speaker jack because my HDMI ARC and optical out on the TV are already being used and I just wanted a simple hookup without needing to undo everything and also so I could still use my dish remote for volume control. I could have used the bluetooth connection but my TV likes to fight with me on that. Yes, the audio does sound better via the HDMI or Optical jacks but honestly, the 3.5mm speaker jack really isn't that bad and it still sounds 100% better than the crappy stock TV speakers. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. If you're looking for a smaller and affordable (yet very versatile and great sounding) soundbar option then you should consider this unit.

Bought this for my room. The sound quality is really good. The sub gives out good bass too! Connected with (HDMI ARC) which allows me to use my regular tv remote to control it!! Tv, movies, music, all sounds good. Advances your listening experience! The only thing I didn’t expect is that I’d still have to put my volume up so high. But I still give it 5 stars because it’s a great product & definitely worth the price!
