Hooked up with the optical cable and it works great. It takes a bit to figure all of the settings to get it where I wanted it. Connected effortlessly to the subwoofer. On its presets its very bass heavy. Voices come out now much better than the speaker on the TV. I have an older Samsung tv and the soundbar would not communicate though the HDMI with my tv.

Great sound, almost like movie theater. Easy to set up. Highly recommended.

I had a receiver connected in the past and this sound bar has sound that rivals. It is ARC connected and goes into a power saving sleep mode when not in use. The only drawbacks that I have found- there is a strange buzz when I change channels on the TV when the Dolby audio source is selected on the DirecTv box. It doesn't do that when deselected. There is also no way to deselect the vocal announcement when you change modes between the movies, dialog, music etc. modes.

Sound is decent. For what you pay, this product offers exceptional value. For the average consumer, this will do what you need without breaking the bank.

I have this hooked up to my 32" bedroom TV. I am using the HDMI ARC audio connection with PCM output. Watching YouTube ASMR videos with rain and thunderstorms on a TV with crappy speakers isn't great. So I bought this 2.1 soundbar. The subwoofer is powerful for its size and the sound quality is good. I like that the soundbar turns on and off with the TV however the LED on the subwoofer still stays lit. I also like that the sub is wireless(except 120v cord). You can plug it in anywhere in your room.

Amazing sound bar. It surprised my expectations! I really recommend this device. I feel like in a movie theater. Easy to setup.

Do not let the price fool you. This soundbar is a beast. For the prive, you can’t find better. It works better than the overpriced ones.

Once I read the instructions, I found it super simple and it works really well. I use it via Bluetooth with my Apple TV and I love it!

The sound bar was easy to hook up. The sound quality is great and for the price you can not beat it.

The best thing about this system is the 5" sub. Im an audio freak and prefer 15's and big floor speakers. Preferably Kicker. However I added this piece to my son's room and wow. No hype this little sub fills the room with the SQL of a 12" and SPL of an 8" sub. His audio gaming experience is much more improved. I would say this is also a friendly piece for an apt or a house where you want the bass but don't want to shake the walls. It was the best bass bang for your buck vs JBL Samsung Sony in my opinion.

This vizio soundbar was easy to set up. The sound quality is absolutely amazing .

The best thing about this sound bar is that every cable you could possibly want to use is included. You really only need new cables if you have a setup that requires a longer-than-average wire. The sound on this unit is great for the price. One clarification for those who do not know; there is no home assistant built into the bar, it connects through bluetooth or 3.5mm. I have had some issues where the device will wake-up, searching for a device to connect to, this can be really annoying when it is 1 a.m. and it is loud enough to potentially wake you up.

We have had the Vizio -V- Series 2.1 for a month. We are very satisfied. Easy to hookup and operate. Like the sound.

The speaker system is great for the price. Has a lot of sound and good base. Only issue is you can’t control the speaker with your phone (not smart cast compatible). To be fair you can sync a TV remote with the speaker to control the volume but it will not control the speaker input so you still need two remotes.

Great sound quality, and the Bluetooth works great. I would recommend this sound bar due to its cost and build quality.

I was a bit skeptical in the beginning, but when I tried to compare the sound in the store, vizio really wows me compared to Samsung but it was late cause I already ordered Samsung sound bar online. After 3days my Samsung stop working so I returned it and get the vizio sound bar. Now I’m always excited to go home and watch tv because of the wonderful sound coming from my vizio sound bar.
