Connection was ridiculously EASY it connected my TV and Cable Box remotes. I will stand by my 5 star rating even though I have a complaint. Connecting a tv mount was a pain due to where the pre drilled holes are. Vizio if you could put an extra 2 holes on the back not just the bottom you'd have gotten 6 stars

Good sound, good value

Really brought quality sound to my tv in a small to medium sized room. One feature not always made clear that I wanted to know: I WAS able to use this unit with my original TV remote for basic volume, etc. (auto on when hooked up properly.) If you take the time to go through all the options and set it up properly, you won't be disappointed.

The reviews I found leaned a bit towards the Vizio. We have a TCL television it is hooked up to so that was my hesitation. Would the TCL pair better? Work better? My hesitancy was for not. The Vizio paired with the TV fine and boy does it deliver. I think the sound bar hits way over it's weight class in both sound and features. One area that cheaper sound bars miss are in volume indicators. It is a little thing but it drives me crazy to not have it. Well this one does. Not only on the LCD screen on the remote (yeah it has that) but also on the side of the Sound bar itself. Very well made. Great sound. Easy to set up. Dialogue setting that works well. Overall a really great sound bar with great value. For the price? 5 out of 5

Our first sound bar

Good sound, looks good, good bass from the subwoofer--very happy with this. Some minor beefs: I wish this were integrated with the t.v. remote, the subwoofer must be turned off by hand (the remote doesn't turn it off), and I need to adjust the volume during movie dialog and then again for louder sequences.
