I love this sound bar. It's very easy to set up. I did a lot of comparison with other sound bars and this is by far the best one I chose. The sound is very clear and the sub is well balanced with the speaker. If you want the best connection with your TV, use the HDMI cable.

We love this sound bar and have it set up in the living room with our TV. The only downside is that I wish the remote had a button to turn the subwoofer on and off! You have to manually turn it on and off and we have it in a spot thats hard to get to in the living room so we mostly use it without that on.

Good quality sound, tons of connection options, and simple operation make this a great buy for a simple, yet solid, desk audio system. Your Zoom meetings/games will sound just as good or better than a set of Logitech computer speakers, but with WAY less wasted space and WAY fewer cables!

Vizio soundbar is pretty decent. Had to contact vizio support because I had a weird sound coming from the sub. I was not able to update the soundbars firmware since I don’t have a computer anymore and they sent me the firmware update through the mail, and the update took away the weird sound from the sub.

For the price its tough to beat. Rich bass and clear sound especially when playing music. Movies sounded great and the EQ let's you tweak it just enough to suit your particular taste. Excellent option compared to high end systems.

This isn’t going to replace a full surround sound system - but WOW, what an improvement over my 15 speaker built-in TV sound bar. The wireless subwoofer is surprisingly effective, especially considering its size. Excellent remote functionality and pretty decent virtual surround.

Recommended if you have a smaller sized room and need better audio than what the television provides. Otherwise, I'd spring the extra money for a 5.1 system or higher wattage bar. This system adds volume and depth to the audio but dialogue can be a little harder to understand if your treble on tuned properly.

Installed it with a Vizio smart TV and it works like a charm. I use the Visio TV remote for everything which is nice too! Occasionally though when it's adjusting to sound from certain applications it will let out a squeaky feedback noise. But only once and it goes back to normal. But works great on a regular basis!

Love Vizio but sound on a 2.1 is too small

I will say this. I already had a Vizio 5.1.2 with Atmos which is for my basement setup. That's unreal. I then bought this for the family room TV hoping the sound was half as good. I returned it the next day. The woman asked why I was returning it and if there was a problem. I said "You know, it's a 2.1. And I realized I need 5.1." She said "I Totally get it." I then went and bought a Vizio 5.1 which is really good, but not the 5.1.2 with Atmos. The issue on this product is simply that the loss of the center channel makes TV watching in 2.1 feel insufficient. Maybe on a small TV or in a small room where you want it just a little better than the TV speaker. But I'd say, if you are the kind of person who notices when Balance is off on a stereo, this won't do the job for you. But I do love Vizio. Just not 2.1.

Sounds quality is great for a decent price. Recently purchased this to add to my Vizio TV. I live in a small condo and didn't need a full sound system. This size and value made an immediate impact in my tv watching experience. Great price, great value

Great sound, sometimes I get a delay in the sound track of a video steaming from Netflix or Amazon Prime, when I turn off and on the power to the Sound Bar it goes back to normal, in-sync audio. Go figure????? other wise great sound and good bass without booming. Prefect sound bar for 12' x 14' bedroom

    I compared 4 different units

I’m an audio engineer. I’ve been mixing music everyday on professional studio equipment for the last 20 years. After a bad experience with a previous soundbar, I decided to buy the top 4 sellers under $500 and compare them all. I bought the VIZIO V-Series 2.1, the LG 2.1 300W, the Sony 2.1 320W, and the Samsung HW-Q60T 5.1. I’m not interested in features, only sound quality. What all these units lack is proper stereo width. If your TV is any bigger than a 50”, the extreme left and extreme right sounds will not match your screen’s dimension. We have a 70” and the soundbars only deliver about a 30-50% stereo field, as if things aren’t panned properly all the way. The built-in speakers on our TV have a greater stereo width, but lack in the frequency spectrum, especially the low end. The Vizio V-Series 2.1 sounded terrible. Boxy and muffled. It’s louder than your average TV’s built-in sound, but not better. The LG 2.1 300W is about as good as your average TV’s built-in sound, but with more bass/bottom end. The Sony 2.1 320W is a slight improvement on your average TV’s built-in sound, and with a more defined low-end. The Samsung HW-Q60T 5.1 is a noticeable improvement over the other units. It’s crisp and clear, and the bass is well-defined. It has multiple audio modes to compensate for the lack of stereo width, all of which are terrible and add a fake surround effect, but in “standard” or “adaptive” mode it does a nice job of delivering clean and balanced audio. None of these soundbars will replace a proper surround system where the individual speakers can be placed properly around the room, but they can still be a great improvement over the built-in TV speakers.

Originally was going to go with the jbl 2.1 system but then listened to the demo on this setup. Blown away by it. It has great highs and lows. Bass is fantastic on the bar as well as the subwoofer. Highly recommend for the price. Save your money and try this one out.

This sound bar saved the day! We were having problems with watching certain videos on TV, primarily with volume control. We can now adjust volume and quality of sound with ease. Please note that we adjusted the sub woofer to almost zero because the bass was otherwise too overpowering.

We use this in a small bedroom and very impressed with the higher quality audio experience over the standard TV speakers. Would definitely recommend it as a supplement to the standard TV setup. Not sure this would be our first choice if we wanted a high-end audio experience.

The product is GREAT! HOWEVER, did not come w/latest firmware -- which meant it wasn't working properly (sound & screen wouldn't sync), NOR any indication one should install updated firmware when purchased, NOR any information on how to do it when needed. SO there's that.

We have always bought Vizio products so when our older sound bar lost the left side speaker we decided to get this one. It sounds great, as if we had surround sound throughout the living room. Haven't quite mastered all settings yet but overall we enjoy it.
