We could never get it to connect to the HDMI cord that’s included, but the Optical cord is sufficient. It occasionally has a static sound and loses connection with the subwoofer. We haven’t been able to figure out a fix and it’s past the return period. When it works it’s great.

A lot of times when we get audio from one source or input and not another, it indicates a settings or connections adjustment that needs to be made. In regards to the subwoofer, I would recommend to power cycle both the sound bar and the subwoofer.
