was great at first but having volume issues

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the first day i set it up it was working great and sounded amazing, i was thrilled. then after i switched it from the tv to bluetooth to listen to music from my phone, and then back to the tv, the volume got screwed up and no matter what i do or how many times i reset it, it won’t go back to how it was. when i watch shows the background noise overpowers the dialogue and the volume is really really quiet. at first the volume being halfway was incredibly loud and now if i turn the volume up completely it’s not even as loud as it initially was at half. i’ve done everything vizio says to correct the issue but it hasn’t worked. pretty disappointed

While we love the sounds and recognize that this is the first time we can actually here people talking over the music (common issue on most built in speakers, the speaker continually cuts out for 2-4 seconds. The issue is sporadic and despite using optical cord and then switching to e-arc, the problem persists. I have had to reset the unit at least 3 times. It will generally work fine for a few days and then starts again. Support offered minimal assistance and aside from ensuring the latest updates, they have been no help. I foolishly threw the box in the recycle and am now unable to return. I would definitely skip this sound bar for Samsung tv’s

The sound bar is great when it works! I now find myself unplugging it to reset per the customer service representative recommendation.

Disappointed

I could not get a good balance of sound. I bought it for a replacement for my 4 year old Vizio sound bar and subwoofer and the old one was superior in sound. I took it back for a refund.

Terrible Connection/sound quality questionable

Requires constant reconnect and resetting the tv audio functions daily. I do have it connected with HDMI ARC so shouldnt be any issues sharing the main remote and working alongside the TV... IT DOES NOT! If I could return it, I would but its been just over the 30 days mark. For now, I will be giving away to someone and purchasing a better model/brand as its so annoying to fuss with everytime you need to change the channel. Its not worth the hassle at all.

Not for me

The constant booming sound gave me a headache. I tried turning the sound bar off from the remote it came with to watch regular TV, figuring I could switch it back on for movies, but as soon as I adjusted the volume using my regular remote, it would reactivate the sound bar. The only alternative was to unplug it when I didn't want it. That would mean either moving the TV stand and getting behind it to unplug, or getting behind the couch to unplug the subwoofer. Either way, not acceptable options for me. I returned it.

Soundbar for small rooms.

Well designed, but not for me

Doesn’t work all the time

Even when using the HDMI ARC it’s a very minimal difference. Also it’s a huge design flaw to have only a HDMI input but not a output, so essentially you are using a HDMI port on your TV solely for audio which is inconvenient especially when you have all your ports used for different devices. It’s ok for what it is but I wouldn’t buy this again

lacks sound and bass

The black and silver one same 2.1 system, and it was great super loud and the bass was awesome. One of my speakers started to sound distorted after so many years, so I decided to get this newer model. Well what a disappointment. It lacked the loudness and definitely the bass. It was not better than the older one that's for sure. Looks good looks sleek and goes with any Tv aesthetics. But the lack of the sound was a big deal breaker for me.
