    bought to use as a monitor for a computer. It works well, but you have to do a bit of tweaking to get a non-blurry picture.

    Agree with others that the picture is great; sound is ok, but routing to an amplifier/speaker system is best. Nice that it supports Chromecast (fine for me as compared to another reviewer's experience it seems), and big plus that it supports YouTube-TV as well as (if not better than) the Roku Express that we have on our big TV. Con: definitely the remote! The controls on it are hard to see, and use due to faint markings (back-lighting much needed), and smallness of the buttons. The user interface (UI) is not very intuitive, and takes a lot of "practice" to figure out - i.e. switching inputs takes multiple passes to get to the desired one, and "translating" what the non-HDMI ones names mean takes some trial and error. For example the antenna input "name" is the currently tuned-in station number/call letters, so it is not the same on the menu choices from one time to the next if channels are changed much. MUTE BUTTON just stopped working! Will check with Vizio support to see if I can get a remote replacement...

    We bought this tv because we have other Vizio tv’s and they were good. This one glitches and turns off suddenly. We would not buy again or recommend.

    Was going to use as a monitor but it doesn't support Chroma 4:4:4 so it isnt great for that because it makes text looks blurry.

    For the record I bought this open box. It was great at first but started to slow down and wouldn’t load apps later on. But you get what you pay for

    The back is to flat for coax connection.if you want to mount the tv you will need to get a mount that is not fixed position

    Good tv for the price the interface for the smarcast need to be better and more options to add apps from google play. this tv is not made for the main living room

      Hello AverageShopper, The SmartCast input does have limited applications installed and you cannot add extra apps to the input. We are continuously evaluating new applications for possible addition to this screen. In the meantime you can cast any of the thousands of Chromecast enabled applications to the TV from any mobile device on your network. VIZIO

    there's something wrong with the picture quality on this model. it's just not clear. the default picture settings are just horrible, and it's hard to correct them because the menu will tint half of the screen while you're making changes. I'm just very disappointed with this model compared to the Sceptre TV i replaced this with

      Hello krissrock, thank you for the feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you are looking for. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition signal. This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark. VIZIO

    its okay, and serving its purpose. The color's on the screen looked better in the store. I will stick to the brand that I like and it's not vizio

    The picture on this TV was great, but after less than a week the speakers would randomly cut out for about 3 seconds and then turn back on their own. I called Vizio and their poor customer service did not help at all. I ended up returning this TV to buy a different brand.

    We like Vizio and purchased this 1080P TV a couple years ago. Wish we had spent the money to get a 4K TV instead.

    This tv is a piece of junk. I have to factory reset it every other week to get it to work. It’s constantly losing internet connections. Sometimes “SmartCast” just flat out doesn’t work. It’s going back. This mediocre tv is NOT worth this much trouble.
